Best way to stay alive as a Rogue in giant AOE packs?

I get demolished in some packs randomly.

It doesn’t happen often, but it happens often enough that M+ is going to be an issue.

I use my cooldowns including feint to avoid AOE damage on me, but it seems in these giant packs where there’s 20 enemies, I just get chewed apart while trying to stay in melee range to do damage.

Do you dip in and out of the pack?

Is it the healer (they do seem terrible most of the time)?

It’s hilarious compared to my Death Knight who can literally stand in the mess and never drop below 80% health.

In M+ you are not going to regularly be pulling 20+ mobs. It’s going to be a lot more manageable once the tank needs to regulate what they pull.

That’s true actually lol.

I just did The Rookery and we pulled everything on the long stretch between the first and 2nd boss, around 40 enemies or so, which is incredibly fun, but man after all my CDs I died so quickly just getting close to everything.

to be honest, I hate that monstary place with all the adds that drop poop on the ground that is like 300 miles radius large. Melee was not thought about with some of the packs.

I use health pots or just Crimson then run out. You don’t need to auto attack or Mut trash that much. You just need 1 Mut for Caustic. Take Elusiveness instead of Cheat Death. Go Deathstalker and use Cloak with Feint.

Yeah I figured people were dipping out after applying bleeds.

I’ll start doing that.

I am getting greedy.

I did over 2 mil dps and I was getting the heeby jeebies.
