Is that acceptable this time around? People were being called leechers for doing that during ReMoP.

I would think so. I have no expectation of a sub-740 that I invited contributing anything useful to the group.

That’s nice of you to carry people. Personally I prefer not to be carried. I like contributing and not feeling useless.

I didn’t know there was a right or wrong way to do it. I created a character, chased down all of my artifacts, did the campaign quest in the open zones, and then worked on the infinite power quests one at a time. Sometimes two at a time since one would be go do a generic heroic dungeon, and the other would be do a specific heroic dungeon, and you get credit for both. Just play the way it makes you happy and screw everybody else’s opinion.

You can do that, too. However, there are not many groups that won’t recruit a 740, so you may need to make your own.
If you have 740s in the group, and you’re lower than that, there’s a pretty high likelihood that your damage contribution will be less than 1% of the overall. I imagine anyone choosing to recruit you knows that too, and expects nothing of you.

Okie dokie. I sincerely appreciate the info. I’ll just keep working on my Unbound Limits (vers) until I can join and actually contribute. 
So much easier said than done, for many reasons already touched on in previous replies, reasons that I don’t want to bring up again.
You don’t have to listen to his logic.
You can apply to any raids. Most raids will take anyone above 550.
He was once 550 as well. He went through the same journey you were.
Only difference is. He farmed the elites and got ahead.
You did not.

They are nerfed now. Sure too but you are just going to earn less.

I don’t mean this in a mean way but I think you’re klinda… looking at it wrong? Like
Think of it as a “rush game mode”.
For some people, that rush is to power. SO they’re grinding out, getting as strong as possible then just one shotting bosses/raids ect.
For some it’s about rushing to max level, getting apperances and moving on.
I’m in the latter camp. Unfortunately if you don’t like the GOGOGO mentality, it’s probably not for you, and that’s okay.
If you want to engage with it and want to do the power rush, you kinda just have to accept that, at first, you’re just there for the ride. Do you best to keep up, and don’t fret it too much. Eventually you’ll also get to the power level where you can easily keep up with that rush.
It’s just a little frustrating if you’re behind the curve.

pretty much what i did, i just did all the research quests every day and ran the raids.
did the campaigns when i wanted a change of pace
i am still not capped, but i dont have any issues either with people in mythic or heroic raids zooming around either, even on that terrible ursoc gauntlet lol
dungeon bosses evaporate so i dont even worry about those when i do dungeons anymore.

I play Lemix like I play Diablo on the highest torment. Fast with as many explosions and big numbers as I can get. I’ve yet to be disappointed.

Thank you for offering, I sincerely appreciate it. I usually don’t get to play until after 9:00-9:30 PST. I’ve been focusing tonight on Research and World Quests, especially the quests for rare elites. 
I’m cool with fast runs, but when the tank ignores 60% of the mobs and has the “zoomies”, good luck keeping up while getting dazed and blasted as dps. Then you die, you’ll have to rez at the start since nobody is going to be rezzing you and you’ll just give up because all the mobs will still be there.
Other than that, meh.

Not the way I’m playing it for sure 
making alts and trying to gear them up as if it was another first time character, I will stop it tho I don’t want to burnout
I can imagine it would be more interesting with friends/guildies to play this but most of the people I know only plays classic so that’s not on my reach
If you’re leveling, I highly recommend focusing on questing. Remember to always turn in and refresh your Infinite Research quests using Nostwin’s Voucher.
One thing Legion does much better than MoP is giving us a much wider variety of farmable content, especially with Heroic World Tier.

Yes, exactly. I am willing and able to keep up as long as the tank pulls aggro. Otherwise the entire group except the tank is screwed.

I think best just to keep up and do your best, it’s a fun game mode. usually peeps have been chill
