Best Way To Play Lemix?

Since apparently there is a “right” way and a “wrong” way to play Lemix, what is the “right” way? (“Right” as approved and enforced by the majority of players who don’t give a hoot about anyone else.) I honestly want to know, because right now Lemix is ruined for me, but I still want to participate. How “should” I be playing? I still want to get the achievements, and earn enough bronze to buy stuff, and I’m tired of getting beat up and bullied for “complaining” (aka asking for some consideration from other players). What is the “right” way to play?

What content are you doing ?

Your post yesterday was on your daily - which I suggested was ask your team in advance.

Even if one team does not follow it. Most wow players will accommodate. So you still have to be nice and say please can we finish this.

What considerations are you asking for?

Lemix. I thought the point was to quest and do dungeons/raids, but apparently I haven’t been grinding enough because I’m suddenly getting left behind in dungeons.

The usual that everyone gets mad about, just make sure everyone in the dungeons can keep up and loot the bosses. (aka slow down just a little bit) Make sure everyone in the group can actually finish the quest they’re in the dungeon for. But that makes me a “complainer” and a “cry baby” apparently and I should “go play retail.”

Ok so for dungeons - heroics or normal for daily chest. Just focus on finishing the dungeon and getting chest.

For daily quest. I suggested above. You still have to ask your team to accommodate your requests. Because they may not be doing that. You are. So you have to make it work.

For raids - just focus on getting carried - most tanks are 740 with 300 verse. They can solo all this content but they are doing with 30 others for community participation. So don’t make requests just go with the flow.

If you die at ursoc - just wait for them to TP back and then you can go.

I have tried asking, either no one bothers to read chat or they don’t care.

the point is to grind infinite power as fast as possible to make grinding for everything else faster and more efficient.

there are more things that are gated behind achieves and people want to get them as fast as possible, plus the absurd amount of bronze that people who want everything want to farm

people are so strong that going slow isnt really an option right now because they can must mow everything down, and the faster the runs go, the faster everyone can move on to the next thing.

How do I do that now that suddenly everyone is OP and I can’t keep up in the dungeons anymore? I won’t be able to get any infinite power from looting the bosses anymore, because all the trash is left behind and not aggro’d by the tanks or whoever is the zippy person leading.

Here read this.

For starters, don’t assume that just because you ask, it means you’re entitled to people playing how you want

When you join group content, you are at the mercy of how the group plays. If you’re the only one falling behind, that would seem to indicate a you problem. If it’s one person rushing ahead, try voting to kick. If the rest of the group agrees with you, it’ll pass. If it doesn’t pass, well, assume it’s a you problem.

I’m not assuming that I’m entitled. Its just common courtesy isn’t it? To make sure everyone in the group can finish?

BUT I really don’t want to get into all that again, because everyone else thinks I’m wrong so here: I’M WRONG, I’M A CRY BABY, I’LL GO PLAY RETAIL AND YOU ALL CAN SAY “GOOD BEEPING RIDDANCE”. :rage:

Stop bullying me please.

Best way is to park at the raid portal before applying. That way you can zone in immediately and try to keep up. There is no guarantee you’re gonna get a summon.

This complaint against ‘going fast’ is getting ridiculous. Remix has huge speed boost and huge damage so the mobs melt. It is literally designed around this infinite power fantasy and speed.
I understand that some classes have more mobility, but if you cant keep up it is an indication you have a problem pressing and holding a single button on your key board. If you CAN’T press ‘W’ while using your abilities, just stop using your abilities and keep up…

Everytime i see this complaint about people going too fast, i wonder why they come and complain when the solution is so simple. Press W and dont let go.

Even now, reading your posts, it comes off as you feeling entitled to what you call “common courtesy” because you asked.

I’m not saying you’re a crybaby, or that it doesn’t suck to be left behind, but that’s the nature of this game (mode), and you have to either adapt or deal with it. Run something multiple times, whatever it is.

There’s even a warning when you create your character about how it’s a fast paced mode. If you don’t want fast paced, Remix isn’t the best form of the game to be playing.

JUST STOP. This wasn’t meant to be a “slow down” post, I KNOW EVERYONE IS AGAINST THAT, that’s why I left it out in the first place. I KNOW NO ONE AGREES WITH ME.

I just want to know how I “should” play. That is all.

Isn’t everyone entitled to common courtesy?

You “should” go fast enough to keep up with the group, which often times means not killing or looting any adds. The bronze you get is negligible, and chances are your DPS isn’t making a dent anyway.

Keep up with the group, loot the boss, move on.

That’s 99% fair. The problem is dying to certain trash mobs that absolutely nuke anyone in range regardless of aggro. (Oh and I guess also latency. People can take long enough to zone in that the trash has been skipped and the boss already pulled.)

Oh you would hate my life.
