Best way to pay for wow sub in gold?

ive watched a lot of tutorials about gold making and theyre all pretty straight forward but theyre usually outdated after a week, does anyone know a good method to make around 120k gold in game without farming 9 to 5 for a month ?

Playing the AH is an option.

Plenty of ways!
Farming rares for mogs or pets:
K’uddly from the forgotten in corrupted vale or the tentacle from gaze of n’zoth in the same zone, unique armor from BC rares (get the silver dragon addon), waders from ultra rares in bastion, and more.

Old bosses/world bosses:
Not only is this simple and profitable, some drop boe you can sell like Kazzak Doom in hellfire. It’s pure cake for you to camp a few alts at thier spawn locations and casually check for them once in a while. That gold builds fast, too.

Old raid boe farming:
Although the recent squish has made this more challenging, the price of these boe has risen to match. Specifically, Legion raids drop tons of unique boe that still sell regularly. For example, the plate crown from tomb of sargeras. AND the easiest version of that helm to farm (the lfr version) sells for the most.

Mat farming:
SL has made some big changes to crafting professions that made it harder to earn regular income without excessive effort, so it might be better to pick up a gathering profession. Herbalism is a highly profitable choice as herbs are constantly in demand. It is also a good choice for raiders who wish to save gold by gathering herbs themselves and taking them to an always-available alchemist guildie to create pots or flasks for you to use or sell.

Hope this helps! {8^ D

Become friends with a AH baron. Let them pay for it.

sounds like social engineering

I don’t do anything so far as farming or grinding goes and i still bring in enough that my gold balance doesn’t go down even though it also pays for my sub and store mounts/pets. I do my daily calling, some table crap, DE quest rewards and random drops and do one raid/M+ per week for vault. I honestly don’t pay too much attention to how it breaks down but it’s always trickling in.

Better off begging for a handout on the street corner than farming gold IMO… that or you know, working for an hour or two.

Ah flipping is a good way to get started, but it is also risky since prices are basically based on demand and nothing is ever really guaranteed to make you more gold then you spent. In other words, for ah flipping you have to spend gold in order to make gold and it takes a bit too much luck for consistency.

Lowest effort imo. Get at least 3 characters to 60. Do every one of your callings. Pick of herbalism as well and farm while completing callings.

That alone should you 120k + a month

You get 2k just for a daily emissary. That’s 2 toons a day making 4k a day so 120k a month just with 2 toons.

Make all your characters an engineer and craft sky golems. I easily pay for my sub this way and still make profit and all I do is log in and click 1 button on each character.

Also, plenty of old hustles still work. Sell old glyphs on the AH, farm blood of sargeras/motes of harmony, daily alchemy CDs (shadestone for current xpac).

Lots of stuff works based on how much effort you wanna put in.

With all the bots that way is long gone. They wait for you to buy out something then re-post, then bots come alone reap your 400k you spent then under cut you to death.

Go shovel someone’s driveway in the morning…

step 1: learn leatherworking and skinning
step 2: go to ardenwield
step 3: kill mobs and skin
step 4: profit

Where does LW come into this?

Another idea that bots destroyed, like the ah flipping.

Currently i just do Callings on 4 characters, you get a decent amount of gold and can easily pay sub from that.

yeah heavy callous hide had a drop in price but i still make like 50k an hour farming in ardenwield so id say still worth

An education.

$20 for a monthly subscription (say 30 mins of RL work - little on the low side) will always be faster than farming.
