I really like the elite set and I’d like to get it on my warlock.
What’s the best way to do that? Solo? BG Blitz?
Never really done rated that seriously so I’m kinda lost
1800 is free in either solo bracket but it’s probably easiest in blitz

Is one faster than the other though? I’m not really looking to push rating, just get my transmog and be done with it

No rating is free. Just getting passed the horror bracket I.e 1400 blitz. 1800 in solo is also very very sweaty. Be ready to get trained as a lock
Shuffle starting mmr is 1800
Here’s what I did(Got every class 1800 this season)
Go Demo Lock - Less damage than affi but tanky enough that the healers at that level can keep you alive. Run Master summoner, impish instincts, and Soul Rip(Honor Talents)
Every round you will play the run away game. Rotate defensives, kite, and keep up curse that slows people(tongues on healer)
Try to watch high rated warlocks to see where they put their ports and gate.
Remember to make a macro to soulburn teleport and soul burn healthstone every time
You will be very frustrated always being the punching bag. You just have to stay calm and not freak out as soon as a melee connects to you.
Queue times are around 15-20 min(the worst part)

Probably solo shuffle or blitz. Biggest thing you’ll have to get used to is being trained, though, which is less common in blitz than shuffle.
