I assume its turning off EXP at some point,
the higher level the better, for more talents ofc
but I dont want to simply 1 shot everything while questing
Now that skyriding is everywhere I think it would be fun to turn off exp and slowly work towards loremaster on one character (prob on my steam deck!)
lol, yeah obviously. thats what i said, and why I asked WHAT LEVEL would be “best” since Timewalking has some weird and complicated scaling involved.
I’ve been playing WoW on Steam Deck since the launch of Dragonflight man, its fine. Blizz doesnt care.
That’s actually a bit of a tough question. Some zones max out at 30, except when one is doing timewalking, etc. Probably the best place to ask is here:
There are some real knowledgable questers, perhaps one of them has some guidance.
Edit: You can move this there yourself if you want. There is a drop down to do that…somewhere.
I think the “best” level that most people would say would be 11 since you’re an overpowered god basically.
But you aren’t trying to be OP so I really don’t think it matters.
Since you’ll be needing to go in and out of Chromie Time for the scaling, I’d probably lock exp at level 65.
I’m pretty sure you can technically do Chromie up until level 70, but it can get a little wonky and want you to do current content stuff starting at 67 sometimes. It can be hard or impossible to get back into Chromie after that point.
So I’d lock at 65. Good middle ground of having access to most skills, but leaves plenty of wiggle room for going in and out of Chromie Time as needed without fear.
I have no idea if it does, but you can always lock it at various other points until it feels good to you. 65 is just what I’d personally use if I was doing this.
