I completed the main quest line and have been doing wqs and missions at the war table is there anything else I can do?

Hope for an emissary, and it’s too late but get the Darkmoon Faire buff for rep gains, as well as wait the next round of world quest weekly where you get a reputation boost as well. Find a rep contract on the AH that will give a small amount of reputation on all world quests.

Island expedition spam and buy the rep turn in for 250.

Patience is the best path. Emissaries and invasions are going to be the best rep/hour played.

Understatement. 10-14 per wq (14 with fair bonus and wm) doesn’t really put a dent in anything unless you farm wqs by the thousands if none available at target location. Rep tokens and emissaries are the absolute quickest means, then mission boards, then contracts.

Both of these are the way you want to go. Also the items you can buy from doing islands you also have a chance(though it’s a low one) of getting the item at the end of an island run.

Also don’t forget to talk to the person on the boat(I forget who it is for the horde) that can give you extra dubloons per run. And do islands on heroic or mythic for a higher chance at more dubloons & items per run.
