Do major assaults, minor assaults, all bfa emissaries, one random BG win, and darkshore warfront if available. Ignore everything else.

So just ignore that a full Horrific Vision clear is 750 Echoes?

I can’t run the entire horrific vision, not yet. If your cape is level 15 and you have every research archive then sure, go ahead.

Get in a pug raid (or a guild raid). Bosses are 75-125 echoes each, and there’s 12 bosses in the raid. On the low end that’s 900 echoes. It might be once weekly but it’s still a nice bump.
You definitely don’t need 15 cape level and full archive research for clearing all the zones in the visions.

I am lower ilvl and same spec on my Rogue and did a full clear yesterday, all you need is the upgrade that gives you 200 sanity on elite kill. Breath of the Dying Rank 3 Major helps a lot as well.
Purification Protocol major might be better. 1min CD and it’ll sometimes one-shot non-bosses because everything inside a HV is classified aberration.
Do Visions. Full clear 'em and you’re gonna get 750 per run!
You don’t have to do a full clear to get Echoes. It’s 250 for main boss, and 125 per bonus objective.
But I’ve calculated out how many Echoes I’ll personally earn each week if I do roughly the minimum and with no PvP (so six Visions, a 15/16 key, each Assault and Emissary, and some Ny’alotha bosses) and it comes to somewhere around 10k Echoes. A whopping 4.5k (45%) is from the Visions.

After doing both assaults, emissaries and visions, the best way to farm is doing m+ with a good group. You can farm +10 keys in 15 minutes for 150 Echoes, so around 600 per hour.
I dont know if there is a faster way, but that is what im doing.

This is a reason for me to just burn through a vision fast, without masks.
I was clearing with two, but then failed on both the last stormwind and org, before the Tuesday reset; so I did a no mask SW clear an hour before the reset, to max my corruption resist for the week.
So it looks like you don’t get more echoes for more masks? May as well try maybe one two mask, or shudder three, then cheese the rest with no mask? All I get is gloves/ legs boots, so with repeats not much reason unless going for the next higher I level.
I have the full research tree, eat kabab when can, use 20 percent less cc food, have two dev 12 percent and 6 percent, no corruption due to my resist, but must just be “the bad”? No, I can only play blood. 
If you can clear 5 mask is recommended you do at least 1 per week, the item you get at the end is going to be higher ilv, but it goes down for each clear. It starts at 470 then goes down 5 ilv each new run.

I was able to do a full clear (Zero Masks) with a rank 5 cloak on my rogue. Easy 750 Echoes
By sheer numbers I would say full clearing horrific visions. But they drop from multiple sources, so I guess do all or most of them? Seems logical to me, anyway.
That’s nothing compared to someone else who messaged me that they did full clear with rank 1 on their rogue.
