Any caster class with long hard-casts will benefit from the calm racial.

Otherwise, I’ve seen clever rogues and warriors use the portals to great effect both in PVP and PVE.

All the cloth casters seem to fit well with Void Elves.

Arcane Mages (and some would say Frost as well), Affliction Warlocks, and Shadow Priests all have great thematics that go well with Void Elves. The no-pushback on spellcasting is also a big benefit for them.

But really you should play what you like.

Honestly… Arcane mage… have 2 blinks, 2 displacements AND another blink with Spatial Rift aswell as no delays for your casts… Just hnnnnngh!

I wouldn’t call Spatial Rift a “Blink” it’s really nothing like Blink and is nowhere near as useful as its made out to be in practical situations. Sure in pvp it can be used creatively, but in most other situations its just not practical to use.

Looks best…plate clothe or leather. VE inherits the blood Elf looks good in anything. Even mail…which usually is bad. Mail just looks less bad on ve .

If a 20-110 run for Armour, best class would be on one you like to level. Either a go to you know makes it fun and easy class or try a missing new class to spice it up.

Racials…I have 2 ve’s and my preferred is the hunter. So I don’t use most racials lol. Other ve is a shadow priest. Liked her up to bfa. The bfa leveling for me…not liking it. At 117 now, she’s been parked a while as I try to get motivated to do the last 3.

I understand caster classes are very gear dependent but that road to the gear got bumpy As hell for me.

Void elves are the alliance’s best casters. The no delay on hit casting speed, the amplified damage and healing, and the teleport in a pinch all make them remarkable ranged damage dealers or healers. Obviously, shadow priest suits them best thematically, but mages and warlocks make excellent use of their racials as well.

I love my shadowy rogue with void powers and teleports, but a warlock or shadow priest with the racial to not delay casts would be godly.

Was thinking about a monk VE, I’ll prolly do my mage too but do u think that melee character benefit from the racial

Obviously Preternatural Calm (the no casting pushback racial) isn’t going to be useful to anyone without a cast time.

Mages, Warlocks, Priests, Mistweaver Monks, and Marksmanship Hunters all have cast time/channeled abilities that can benefit from Preternatural Calm.

As far as I can remember Warriors and Rogues get little to no benefit from Preternatural Calm. I don’t know Survival Hunters or Melee Monks well so I am unsure if they have any cast time/channeled abilities, but likely they also will see little value from it.

All classes can use the Spatial Rift racial in creative ways but it’s very niche and not something as simple to use as say a Mage’s Blink spell or a Warlock’s Demonic Portal. Spatial Rift probably shines most in PVP situations.

As many have said, spell casters benefit the most because of the no-pushback racial.

Special rift is nice in some raid scenarios to help negate mechanics in specific places, but overall it shines most in PvP.

I saw a velf warrior once. One of the funniest things i’ve seen in game.
