I am currently on dalaran and am having fun playing the auction house but im constantly having to sit in the auction house area just to make sure i am not getting undercut on any of the items i am selling. Because of this i have been contemplating moving to a lower pop server, most likely a medium one. As i see it staying on a full pop server does reward faster sales but higher comp, but a lower pop server like a medium means less comp but also slower rate. Can someone offer some insight on whether a move like this is a good idea?
Higher population servers are always better for making money.
Especially if you’re in a niche market like Pets, Mounts, Xmogs etc. The larger market will always outweigh having more competition.
I play on low to full servers between my characters.
I second that a full server is better in general.
You can sell some items for a higher price on lower population server. There’s even a strategy where you buy big on full, move to high/medium and sell so much that you pay off the transfer and make a big profit on top of it.
So much more sales traffic on my stormrage toon. 
This is what im trying to do, some items i can reset the market entirely, but for some items like abyssal potions sell for like 66 gold coins. My plan is to move from dalaran to argent dawn and sell my reagents there.
