Yeah, due to the wonky way DKs are tanky, there is actually a Mythic boss DKs cannot tank because they die on the first hit. Even on Heroic fighting that boss is a pain on my 425 DK simply because the first hit clobbers me for 75% of my health.
Warrior for general purposes but paladins are good during healing-dead weeks like burstingquaking or necrotic, and monk is king of necrotic.
if done right paladin has all of its cooldowns available for pretty much every pull that’s relevant, they can get their avengers wrath and stuff down to nearly no cooldown with whatever traits and essences.
problem with paladin is, is you don’t use your cooldowns right then you get 1 shotted but its just as good as warrior if done right.
Dk is a top four tank for mythic plus this season way above guardian and demon hunter.

I mean, I have you beat by 1500 IO on two characters. I’ve run tons of keys with all tanks. Blood is not in a good spot.
Pretty sure all tank specs are viable right now, but as far as popularity, warrior takes it. Warrior is by far the highest damage tank.

I don’t do many Mythic pluses, but when I do they are not that hard. Raider IO is a bad judge of ability. I prefer pvp myself, mostly world pvp. I do mythic plus to stay up to speed item levelwise so I don’t become a wet noodle in wpvp. Other than that I barely run them or raids.

Yeah, if I can tank and time a Mythic plus 10 and barely run them much then I’d say Blood DK is underrated. The only issue we really have is spikes in incoming damage, because of having no offhand shield and depending on parry and self heal as our mitigation outside of defensives.

Im not sure why a 700io hunter is arguing on what tank classes are best when there are multiple BDKs over 2500 io

But…you don’t have any +10 runs this season, much less timed ones, so I’m not sure how you can speak to how bdk is in +10s this season. (Yea, i know I’m a few days late)
All tanks are super viable right now if you know how to play them and play around them.
But if you want FOTM/Meta specs, Prot War/BrM Monk are your choices.
As mentioned prot warriors are the best for it, but If you have a healer who is struggling a bit, a blood DK can still very easily work just fine at 12 and 13, as a blood DK will pull a lot of pressure off the healer.
Many many pulls I have been able to outheal the healer. It’s all about timing those death strikes and keeping 1 in the chamber for emergencies.
