Just hit 120. What is the best spec for breezing through dailies/rep farming. Feral,guardian, balance, resto?
Guardian means you never die but I found feral relatively easy.

Balance can pull like 4-5 at a time and AOE them down unharmed with treants. Bear can pull bigger but takes longer to actually kill it. Anything can solo any mob with less than 1M health without too much trouble, but bear can solo anything short of a world boss.
If you’re in warmode, bear is decently gank-resistant. Boomkin is great with team support but pretty much fried chicken if anyone gets the jump on you.

All are viable for what you’re asking. World bosses are the only thing I can’t solo alone as a boomy. I’ve killed the 4M+ mobs in Naz by myself though. Definitely not a free kill from ganks either, but nothing will be as fail safe as guardian in that regard. Feral has a ton of self healing and fairs the best in 1v1 encounters besides bear however doesn’t burst larger groups down as fast.
It’s also worth noting I don’t even use treants except on some M+ weeks. I have no problem killing and tanking multiple mobs. Trees would just make it laughably easily.

You mean bear doesn’t burst down large groups of mobs as fast as feral, or feral doesn’t burst large groups of mobs as fast as bear?
I meant feral doesn’t as quickly as my boomy. It can depending on the number of mobs I suppose, their AoE in M+ is great with a lot of targets. Generally though, balance just seems to do more, especially with procs.
However both feral and guardian are great either way. Guardian can AoE non stop since they’re not energy starved, though they do less per hit. However of course you can pull basically anything in sight so it’s arguably faster in that regard. Nothing can AoE as safely as guardian.

I love healing, so I play resto but this setup works really well for me.
Resto with Feral affinity plus warmode on with the Master Shapeshifter and Overgrowth pvp talent.
Cat form with all its benefits. (Stealth, bleeds and etc) a bonus to movement speed and 25% increased damage. If you get into a pickle you just pop overgrowth and switch back to cat. If you really need to you can spam heal yourself to full.
You also get the benefit of increased magic damage if you want to switch it up with some ranged abilities.
It kills much much more quickly than gaurdian and has equally good survivability. Ive soloed almost every quest/elite/rare mob ive encountered. Plus its easy to get into groups for the random elites that require a small raid as resto.
Basically its the ultimate hybrid build. Ive never had more fun with any class than im having with this right now. I can do anything.
