Best spec for aoe dps?

I want to main a rogue in shadowlands and i wanna know wich spec is the best for aoe dps in SL?

Are you asking from like a dungeon perspective?

Even with the blade flurry changes last week, it’s likely going to still be Outlaw

Those changes were to address using Blade Flurry in ST, which did hardly anything to nerf its AoE capabilites. I’d still rather they removed the activation damage and also removed it from the GCD.

outlaw is best, then sub, then assassination

No way that activation damage is tight

Subtlety has access to the legendary “mantle of the assassin” or whatever its called. 100% crit a few seconds after stealth. Shuriken storm should give you 5 points, and we have that aoe finisher.

Should make sub very competitive in aoe unless they make big changes.

Really good bleed timing with assassination is pretty good too (2 point ruptures anyone?)

but combat’s blade flurry has made it the aoe goto xpac after xpac
