Just curious as to what ya’ll think the best solo bg class for fun, dps, and overall gameplay. What class would you recommend if someone asked “what class should I solo bg with?”.

I like hunter, but thats just me.

rogues to split up packs of teammates and ranged dps for baiting and purposely roadfighting for misdirection/snaring ie marksmen hunter.

Prot Pal because it’s a true hybrid. You have big dmg in SL getting buffed from legendaries/conduits. You have great utility with stuns, silence, immunes, sac and CC immunity.
You have great off heals with WoG, Judgement of the Pure
It’s fun for solo que or competitive PvP.
Prot Pal also counters the Caster/Magic dmg Meta the best which is why it was strong in BFA. You can block spells, spell dots, psn, gushing, trinkets etc.

Ret and rogue are consistently good. Warlocks when they are capable of being tanky enough.
I occasionally see hunters, warriors, and druids doing well, but I don’t know enough about them to tell you why or if their toolkit will remain viable into Shadowlands.
Sometimes DKs can do really well solo.
Doing things alone in BGs requires strong CC and defensives to trade if you like offense, and pets / anti-stealth if you enjoy defense.

What are solo battlegrounds? Are those new in Shadowlands? Is it 1vs 1?
A bit bias on my part, but I definitely believe hunters are one of the best classes to do solo battlegrounds as. It’s also fun defending the nodes. No joke, defending bases can actually be fun and hunters are perfect candidates for such rolls. Just be prepared to call out incomings and utilize your pet bars over your own for when a lowly rogue tries to sap cap you.

Currently, rogue / hunter / ret are probably the best best.
I’ve been really enjoying hunter tbh, likely to be playing a lot of it in shadowlands. Super strong, good utility and outplay potential. Overpowered in prepatch but I think it will even a little more out once we hit 60. Hopefully it doesn’t get nerfed too hard lol.

Skill Capped can be clueless sometimes. Some of the ratings are fine but DK at a 5/10 for random BGs? LOL.

I really enjoy playing D so I decided to main a MM hunter. This me having fun and focusing an entire WSG on killing the EFC.
What’s good about a MM hunter is, even if your team is not really partaking in the bg as much as you would like, the class is still super fun and productive.

CC the enemy flag carrier so hard they /afk out of the BG entirely (true story)

Same with rogues. Whether I win or lose a BG doesn’t matter to me because I can pick off people, isolate them and still get kills.

agreed bg’s they are a blast wpvp not so much they are still squishy. after the changes feral will be the way to go right now
