Hello! I am interested in starting a new toon for raiding, can I have some recommendations for both alliance and horde? I’m still deciding which race and faction. Thanks!
Horde is generally better for raiding but go here:

It seems like illidan has a pretty good share of raiding teams and a high population. Would this be a good option?
It’s probably the most popular raiding server in the game with a lot of top 100 raiding guilds. Just keep in mind that it’s extremely populated, so if you sell a lot of stuff on the AH you arent going to get as much for them as you would a lower pop server.
Stormrage for alliance
That goes the opposite way as well. Bought enchants at cheap prices. The economy has a lower sell and buy, but grinding expensive non economy items may be harder to obtain.
