I’m looking for what is the best in population for horde vs alliance and is closest to the Newfoundland timezone
Balanced server that’s high pop with good guilds seems like an unlikely request.
Most high pop servers either swing full Horde or full Alliance.

You’re asking for a lot there OP. There isn’t really any “balanced” servers these days, they’re all either more Horde dominated or more Alliance dominated.
Not even most.
Basically every single good server is heavily skewed in favor of one faction or the other. The closest you’ll get to a good, “balanced” server is Ragnaros (like 4 to 1 Horde to Alliance), and, well… nope, nope, nope.
Not asking for a imaginary my little pony server where friendship is magic… just alliance with a okay amount of horde and close to my timezone in Newfoundland
There is none now they have merged server causing bad LAG,DC’ING, FRAMERATES ARE SHOT TO PIECES. It is truely becoming unplayable in certain areas. Bg’s is woeful for lag now.
Honestly these merges make it almost impossible to determine this

I don’t care if it’s population, faction, community, sociable, ms speed or a farmed server.
As long as you are not there or you appreciate Ragnaros, Azralon and Thrall. the other servers are fine for anyone.
are you using wifi?
Check out Dalaran. its a east coast server that does have a slight tilt to alliance but for high pop it has to be one of the most balanced servers in the game.

Yes and I never had a problem to realm mergers I have adjusted certain items on my laptop to cater for it. But still lagging in bgs or where alot people are not good.
Look into getting a powerline adapter turns your houses wiring into Ethernet connection from where ever the modem is also look at reviews to get the best one possible
My son works in IT and atm works from home, he has that cable cause it’s important for his job. Its a pain in the rear end he runs it up the walls upstairs lol
lol modems have more than 1 connection port just plug the adapter into one of them and from another room plug the receiver in the room of your choice and boom hard line with no long cable going around the house just make sure both plugs don’t have anything plunged in but the adapter to avoid interference but their are some that allow it so shop around

As others have said, there really aren’t any balanced servers anymore. And with crossrealm PvP there’s really no reason for any to exist, which is why most servers keep polarizing further and further.
Your best bet is likely Stormrage (Alliance) and Area 52 (Horde). Those are the biggest servers in the Americas, and they’re both in the EST timezone.
There is no healthy server that has even close to a decent balance of Alliance to Horde.
I wish I was kidding, but I am absolutely not. All good servers are at best a 4 to 1 ratio of one faction to the other; the best are usually an absurdly skewed margin. We’re talking 100 to 1 ratios of Horde to Alliance on servers like Area 52 and, albeit with a lower population, a 313 to 1 ratio of Horde to Alliance on Mal’ganis.
