Best rogue professions

Help me decide, I am torn

There is engineering / mining for mind controlling off cliffs and into lava, but it’s such a grind

Skinning / LW for sapping people and stealing their leather

Or herbalism / alchemy for endless free action potions

Herb / Alch for potions, poisons, thistle tea

Then Skin/LW for crafting your own gear I would say.

Who cares what I or anyone else says though? The best is what you find most rewarding.

I would go with herbalism & alchemy for those potions. :sunglasses: These should also help with saving gold instead of spending money on Thistle Tea. You can make it yourself. :slight_smile:

Herb/alch, unless you are primarily doing pvp, then perhaps eng.

Potions and lockpicking are the best rogue professions :wink:

Phase 1 - Skinning/Herb to 60, then LW/Herb
Phase 2 - LW/Eng
Phase 3 - Eng/x

Thats close to what I’ll be working on.

Mind control cap isnt like a Priests mind control just fyi.

It turns your target into like a hunter pet

Engineering… and if you don’t feel like doing that then engineering anyhow. Dont forget about first aid.

My vanilla rogue is mining/enchanting, always was, always will be and will be again. But I’m an altoholic and had most professions covered in vanilla.

Serious question then…us rogues take less fall damage, so could I jump off a cliff WITH them and they take more damage?

I thought they said that they were going to introduce “Knitting”, just for the Rouges.
And, add a skill for them, with the knitting needles.

I will be doing skinning and leatherworking so I can make my own gear.

Engineering for PVP and extra utility.

Alchemy for PVE and a rogue-unique Thistle Tea to restore energy.

I think Thistle tea was a cooking recipe, I could be wrong tho. Have to wait and see in a few hours!

I just checked, it is a cooking recipe, at the very bottom of my book, under ‘Unusual Delights’. CBA to make it now tho since there is a vendor in our class hall in legion.

I hate crafting I just lvl and gather to sell and buy what I need

Im doing herb and skinning. herb for my rogue stuff. Skinning for gold. I believe it would be cheaper to get another person to craft with my mats vs leveling lw

Alternatively herb and alchemy
