Just finished this chain and before I hand it in I’m wondering which reward to take? The mask seems like the best for raw dps but I already have Embrace of the Lycan from Zul’Farrak so it’s not that big of an upgrade, whereas I just have greens for my boots and cape. Ty in advance
If you’re not an engineer the cloak is the “most unique” since it’s one of the few slowfall items available outside of engineering. You may find situational uses for it throughout the game whereas you’ll eventually replace the boots or mask, especially at this stage in progression.
I can think of several areas in TBC you’d actually use the cloak as well.
The cloak is the only unique reward.
There are a couple other pairs of boots in game that give you +stealth (0.5 and T3). And the helm is just a helm you’ll replace easily.
The cloak + your passive of taking less fall damage? Means you can drop off pretty high heights and survive compared to other classes. And if you PvP, it’s good in AB for dropping off LM/GM without taking much damage at all. Great way to lure other players to their death.
