Best Ranged Dps to Main or Alt

I am currently looking to have a ranged dps that is competitive in Raid and mythic + . which ranged dps classes do you feel will give me the best PvE and PvP experience. I have just about every class at 110 and wanna know which route I should go. Thanks.

mages, warlocks, hunters, maybe ele sham

mages- you’ll get invited to m+ dungeons for mage tables and lust. you’ll be able to join RBGs decently okay as well.

warlocks- everyone likes summons and lock cookies.

hunters- raids need at least 1-2 huntards. RBGs you’ll see them as well.

Ele sham- well, I’m maining this atm. I get invited to m+ easily but not for RBGs. Rsham is good for pvp.

ya I am between Mage/priest/sham

if you want to be flexible, priest/sham are good choices. Everyone likes a healer for m+ if you have trouble getting into one as a dps. but for raids, i’m sure people want mages.

my guild is personally looking for mages atm since we have none.

Please sir, the Warlocks are obviously the best looking range DPS.

hunter is boring to play and visually pathetic. I cant play a hunter. if their abilities looked better or their MM spec had any sort of depth to it then maybe since I like the fantasy of a realistic class but as of right now their super boring

Despite the obvious bias, I’d go for lock. Summons alone are usually enough to get you a raid invite.

Spriest = Great Value Crispy Hexagons from Wal Mart

You can buy a SPriest from Wal Mart, but you can’t buy a Warlock from Walmart

to give an idea of range dps rankings in raiding: basically warlocks (any), SP, ele, and balance are great for raiding.

mythic plus the only “bad” range dps options are hunters, aff locks, and maybe destro locks. demo pumps some great aoe damage, but dont really bring much to the party (no interupt, no dispel, no bloodlust, no CC) so they are probably considered mid tier at best.

Which ever one you enjoy playing more find more comfortable.
I main a boomkin. Have for years. It’s not topping the meters. But I can execute it well, it’s second nature to me. I also absolutely love playing it.
