Best random bg class

I’m wanting some input on what the best solo random bg class might be.

I prefer ranged and like to heal, but healers get focused so much it would be nice to play something else where I can just relax.

I’m leaning towards marksman hunter.

Any thoughts?

Cant go wrong with a hunter who can utilize camouflage and get into position wherever you think you might be needed to unload your ranged combo attack.
If only camouflage made sci fi noises and gave hunters infrared thermal vision for the duration then you could be like that guy from predator.

Easily one of the best classes to play in an epic BG.

Thank you both. Would you recommend necro as a covenant? That’s seems like a good choice to me.

Necro and kyrian are both fun in random bgs, would say its personal preference. I like death chakram and flesh craft but kyrian vial for removing bleeds and healing in bgs is also nice

Thank you. I’ve thought of doing necro-dwarf hunter to get the best of all worlds.

Hunters is fun and does a ton of damage. Same with ele and boomkin

I used to love boomkin. I hate the new eclipse mechanic.

I don’t play Druid but the visual of whatever the hell that global astral storm is looks fun af

MM hunter for regular bgs. Spriest for epics. There’s something satisfying about being allowed to freely spread VT on an entire team and hit that eruption button…

And if you want to annoy the other side in a flag/base type bg, take one of the big worms along. If you use it when they are trying to capture the flag, they can’t because of the ground rumble the pet makes.
