If I wanted to roll a priest while looking forward to TBC and WOTLK what race do you think I should be? It’s gonna be on the Alliance but Horde suggestions are fine as well.
Mostly PvE with some PvP on the side.
For pve I believe the ultra sweaty try hard min max race was troll and for pvp it was human because of the double trinket meta with EmfH. But obviously any race will be good if you’re a good player.
Human, every man for himself strongest pvp racial .
If you ever think that you might pvp at all, you should pick for pvp racials over pve ones. PvE is easy and tuned for every race to do. There is no point in picking racial for that.

There may be some Min Max options but the things that make a priest unique are all but stripped out when wrath comes about as they started to REALLY homogenize the classes. Overall the major points its going to make a difference is Classic. As you get to TBC is matters slightly less as Fear isnt a huge part of the game.
In the end pick what you want to play.
