Spriest and boomy are the best dueling specs (confirmed).
Druid is still one of the best PVP classes even after starsurge nerf. Beefbar hosted a weekly PVP tournament today.
Spriest won but boomkins won many of their matchups easily.
Sadly Ele shaman was perhaps the worst dueling class as I have been saying. Rogue also performed poorly as expected. Lock was shockingly bad and a huge upset.
Hunter pets soloed mages and warriors practically.
Dueling rankings based off this week’s tournament:
- Spriest
- Boomy
- Mage / Hunter
- Enhance shaman / Lock / Rogue
- Warrior
- Ele shaman (LOL)
I combined lock and rogue with enhance because 3 locks did win their 1st fights. Rogue was bad even with Tea and would be terrible without it. Enhance also did better than expected.
Yes many of these people are very good players. Many are R1 players. Some even won Blizzcon.

Boomkins did beat rogues.
Boomkins beat almost everyone except Spriest and almost won vs Spriest.
Boomkins also getting a buff on Tuesday (2/20).

That isn’t a PvP buff. It’s hardly a PvE buff.

They cast starfire in PVP. It’s only 1.5 sec cast with eclipse.
It crits for 1.4k

People saying Boomkin are bad in PvP are legitimately terrible. They have everything a good PvP toolkit needs.

A rogue with all cooldowns isn’t losing to many 1v1. Only explanation of such a poor showing is skill.

Rogue sucks vs decent players.
One of the rogues killed a meta lock with soul link in stun lock.
