so i don’t really PvP. I’m actually kinda bad at it lol. The only character I’ve PvP’ed with is a rogue. Great for sneaking around and doing surveillance. Also I love the CC abilities they offer. What would you say is the best class for PVP and why?

Depends on if you want to fully gear anyone. Everyone can do OK with high ilvl. The current PvP FotM is DH though. I forgot you’re also gonna need corruptions up the wazoo.
you’re playing a hunter, there’s your problem. play as a warrior, rogue or anything that’s objectively better for PvP. SH, MM, BM ect theyre just all bad.
I just started leveling a Fury Warrior in retail and the difference is night and day. FANTASTIC class. Arms warriors are good too. been getting top dps or 2nd-3rd place in every bg and top killing blows while leveling. you’re not bad mate dont think that, like me, youre just playing a bad class for PvP.
Killing Hunters make me sad becaause, i know their struggle, its personal, i see ME, in them. and they cant do anything to stop me except delay their deaths. Bad class.
I’m gonna make another Warrior eventually but with my same cute panda since the one im leveling is an Orc. I have zero motive to gear up this character. I only use it for alchemy and make gold.

Destro lock
Destro is one of the easiest specs in the game to PvP as. Especially with gear. If you can get a lot of PvE gear DH is good and easy too.
destro lock, fire mage, sin/sub rogue, havoc dh. You can’t go wrong with any of these.
Why is anyone suggesting anything except DH? Just be a 3 button meme like everyone else that plays a DH. So easy a caveman can do it.

Druid and Shaman are the best PvP classes.
They both have healing specs, they both have high mobility to keep uptime on objectives, and both have a ranged and melee dps spec, so they are always viable in some way.
Rogue is good, but only in good hands, and 75% of Rogues aren’t good or even productive. They just sit in stealth pretending to help. Their damage is always extremely low.
For classes that don’t have access to healing specs, since that isn’t their “fault”, definitely would go with Mage for ranged and Warrior for melee. DK if they run Wraith Walk.
DHs and Locks make PvP look easy.
I don’t believe that if you just have good gear that you’ll be amazing. That’s true to an extent, but it also depends on class. As someone has said before, Hunters aren’t that great. I just hopped on my under geared to hell Warrior last night (like 370 ilvl) and it was a blast to play! I was thinking of switching mains, but I really don’t feel like taking the time to get my Warrior geared. I’m almost halfway done with my seasonal mount grind, so I might as well just get it done and call it a day.
One can be successful on a hunter, but should you try to PvP as one, go Survival. Survival is the meta. If you play in 2s, play with a healer. Double DPS with a Hunter is not that great.
