Druid/Hunter/Mage
Which one is the best for PvP overall? Wpvp, Bg’s, 1v1, and 1vX.
What Race to go with the class for optimal play?
Why is the class+race better than the other 2?
Which talent spec for optimal PvP?
Thnks for answers.

Warlock…
Only the 3 I listed pls. I dislike demons so I won’t play lock.
Druid - hybrid build. Stealth, bleeds, dots, heals, tankiness, CC, movement speed.
Mage - burst and CC.
Agreed. Mage is probably more of a battlefield controller and burst em down where as a druid hybrid is a do some burst/dots, hot yourself, run away, go bear form, reapply dots/do more burst, hot yourself again and continue the kite attrition.
Edit: they’re both equally good in their own respects IMO.
I think you will get more enjoyment out of mage. Druids can be tricky and have a high skill cap to be effective, and navigating a hunters dead zone can be difficult.
Druid may have the highest potential.
Mage will probably be the easiest to be decent with.
Hunter is probably in between as far as ease of use and potential.
i have a bad habit of relinking vurtne but it needs to happen!
Hunters are the best PvP class out of the 3.
Druids are fun, but are far from being the best in PvP. You will outlast some, but lose most of the time in situations of 1v2 unless you run away which is then fairly easy to do.
For the race, on horde side in PvP, all 3 are fairly equal. Orcs are nice for the extra stun resist and the pet boost but Trolls have +5 Bow, Berserk which is really good for PvE and usefull as well in PvP. Tauren’s stun is really good as a hunter, you can kite them out of your deadzone so you shouldn’t leave this out. And you have a higher hit box so the deadzone is slightly different (which is an advantage).
All 3 are excellent at PvP. Druid beats the other two 1v1.
For killing stuff, mage
For annoying stuff, hunter
For running away from stuff, druid
I think it’s hunter because they can kite anything with their 41 yard range.
All three. True answer. All three have their strengths and weaknesses and the one you enjoy is the one you will be good at.
hunter vs. mage
mage frost nova the pet,
sheep the hunter,
bubbles, eats/drinks, hops up, (if hunter got the drop on ya)
or if hunter trinkets sheep, skull of impending doom’s the hunter,
bubbles, eats, hops up,
frost bolt, reapplies frost nova as needed to pet, gets in hunter’s dead zone and circles with fireballs etc, if hunter gets too close, blinks away, uses tidal charm on the hunter, bubbles/ eats/drinks/reapplies frost nova to hunter pet, resumes fight. at some point in here, hunter dies and pet goes with.
could also mc the hunter and have it go fight monsters.
theoretically, of course. hehe
undead mage. undead better because of will of the forsaken. and mage because vurtne. haha
dunno what his talent build was but its listed as frost mage.
During the 3 minute-mage era, you’d be hard pressed to find a more broken/fun class to play. When AV would go on for days at a time, I had a game where I had 110+ Killing Blows and 1 death. I have the screenshot of the scoreboard on my old hard drive. Would almost be worth putting that thing back together.
At that point in vanilla, it took a very skilled druid to beat a decent hunter 1on 1. In BGs I usually didnt even bother killing the druid until the bigger threats like warriors, rogues, and mages were dead.
Imo mage is easiest to pick up and feel good with out of the 3 you chose and druid being the hardest. All 3 have high skill ceilings.
World pvp: All three are very good but I’ll give a very slight edge to hunters in this area because they are not constrained by space.
Battlegrounds: Everyclass is needed in premades but you will usually not double up on druids so that means usually 1 per bg. Mages are a little more likely than hunters to get 2 spots in wsg and 3 spots in AB is common so slight edge to mages here.
1v1: all 3 are very good if played well and I can’t honestly say one is better than the other.
1vX: I’ll give an edge to mage.
Undead or troll frost mage
Because alliance sucks and frost mages were sick in pvp
