What proffession would hunter get the most out of?
Alchemy is the best right now. Hunters do get more out of Engineering than most classes though.
I have mining/engineering and get a LOT of use out of it. Mats I have an excess of from mining I send to my blacksmith.
None of the professions are so incredible that they are must haves for any class. Blizz has really hamstrung professions.
Engineering is a great profession for any class for all the quality of life things:
- wormholes
- bank, repair, mail
- portable stable (very nice for hunters)
- belt and back enchants that are still useful xpacs after they were introduced
And saving the best for last - LOOT A RANG !!!
Loot everything around you without having to touch any corpses from a half screen away
And if you really into making money: mining and herb
But if making money is your thing, learn how to play the AH. No professions required and millions can be made, or lost.
Inscription is also fun from what I hear
Mining/Engi for practical usage. Skinning/Leatherworking for that real hunter flavor.
Leatherworking/jewelcrafting for the legs, boots and rings if you raid.
Alchemy has been by far the best profession in BFA. Blizzard pretty much removed professions from the game. I miss the good ole days of Wrath and Cata when I had JC/Enchanting and my mail contained 15-20k gold every morning when I woke up. Sure half of it went back into more Ore for prospecting but professions were actually fun back then. Now theres really no need to pick anything besides Alchemy.
