Wondering what professions to use as a 112 Warrior and on my Pally, any suggestions? Haven’t been much of a professions guy but I heard it helps a lot.
Not for gear. Used to be you could craft gear that would help you level, but now in general you will level faster than you will progress. Also, the higher level gear will require mats that drop from heroic and mythic dungeons, that require higher level gear than you can make. I would suggest go with enchant for the buffs and tailoring so you can make stuff from dropped cloth to disenchant for enchanting mats.
Easiest while leveling is dual gathering professions, with herbalism and mining both offering additional leveling experience. At level cap, you can decide if you want to swap professions.
For alternative professions, you might consider enchanting as a psuedo gathering profession. Level 1 allows you to DE crap gear from WQs and dungeons, turning them from 40g vendor trash into shards and crystals worth a few hundred gold each. However, you might just store those items in your bank until it is full, then drop herbalism or mining temporarily to learn enchanting (1), DE everything, then purchase the tome to relearn your gathering profession (you re-learn ranks, skill remains 1).
Tailoring is similar, used as a gathering profession for cloth. You can also use it to craft 32-slot bags, though I am not sure how good the income is.
Broken Isles Inscription can be decent gold for making glyphs.
Older tiers of engineering can be great for utility, but a PITA to level now.
Blacksmithing at 120 can be good for the 2 pieces of BoP gear. Depending on the content you complete (mythics, LFR, normal raids), you can currently craft 355, 370, and 385 gear. After the next raid drops, you can craft 385, 400, and potentially 415 gear. Though the profession can be expensive to level and isn’t worth much outside of the 2 crafted pieces of gear.
