Simple question. What are in your opinions the best to professions to have on a main and why? I’m starting up a human paladin.
I don’t really PvP I just enjoy pve so looking ideally for that. I’m not in any guilds either (maybe in the future) so mostly just an lfr,LFG player.
I was thinking maybe enchanting & JC but not sure?
No gathering professions. I hate gathering. I just buy wow tokens if I’m desperate for mats
i would par jc with mining
might get a lil expensive with the raw mats down the road
I tend to just buy wow tokens … A lot lol 
so golds not an issue for getting my mats 
mining and herbalism, the rest is just one huge hot mess

Gold will catch me up quite easily. Sure I’ll be talent points behind but I can still catch up.
It won’t. The new system uses points that you cannot buy or grind up.
I can max JC and get points fast with skill books weekly, the hidden items, master trainer and crafting. As for extra points that’s just a matter of grinding them out.
I like having engineering for the wormholes to get around easier and all the other neat things engis get
Engineering and mining.
Eng has the wormholes and gadgets that make my game better.
Mining makes me a pretty good amount of gold, plus fits with Eng.

if no mining, then Eng. and whatever you need to craft gear for your class.
To me, this question varies. If you’re gold making then maybe herbalism and mining (correct me if I am wrong)
But if you don’t care then I’d do something you don’t already have. My warrior for example is a blacksmith and a miner just because I wear plate.
herbing mining should be a dedicated alt that you play for that purpose. Alchemy is just too great of a benefit for raiding to not use it on your main. Engineering is nice too but definitely Alchemy.
