Best place to fish in each expansion?

where do you guys think is best to fish in each expansion? like, what zones are the best to chillax, and get your fishing skills up?

asking cause i’m a little stuck on where to fish to get my legion fishing up.

so far, the zones i’ve found best to fish are:
‘classic’ - cape of stranglethorn
bc - terokkar forest
wotlk - dalaran (i think. can’t remember where i got my fishin up there)
cata - uldum, the dam in the northwest
pandaria - pretty-much anywhere. that entire expansion is fantastic for fishin
wod - north-end of nagrand
legion - (not sure yet)
bfa - zandalar (the music is nice)
shadowlands - zerith mortis

Personally, i’d look up rare things that you need and then go for them while getting points while you’re at it. Like fishing for the turtle mounts inside the garrison pond for example.

…i had’nt thought of that… i probably should do that one of these days…

but yeah, i need to find a good legion zone to just chill and fish in.

For Legion, I’d say Azsuna, off the coast, or somewhere in Highmountain. I’d play my Hunter and fish off that river near the Trueshot Lodge sometimes.

Loved those zones.

Legion: that was the Underlight Angler expansion, as I recall. It was a while ago. You’d definitely want to get the great fishing pole that even outside of Legion, lets you walk on water. In Legion, fishing up an entire pool in one cast was fantastic.
I liked High Mountain a lot. And, of course, I have the fishing raft so scooting about on that thing to fish was fun too.

That seriously brings me back. I remember the days where my friend and I would go fishing for hours in ZM for that stupid mount. Or even Revendreth or Maldraxxus.

Ya Ya, Once I got the Strange Goop and the mount, I was out of ZM; no profit, no reward. Now I fish in Bastion and Revendreth for the mats to make the group feasts.

Though, not much anymore, its the end of the expansion.

Yeah, I was in a rush to leave ZM. To kill time while fishing there, my friend and I would just talk or even screw with other people by turning them into witches. I was so bored in ZM that I’d be like “Hey everyone, Hirokun is up! Summoning him in 2 minutes.” God, that was so funny seeing everyone complaining in chat but I feel bad though. Because I know he drops a lot of cool stuff. But damn, I love fishing just so peaceful.
