Best Place to Farm Motes of Harmony?

I find myself needing quite a few Spirits of Harmony, and haven’t the gold to buy them off of other players. So, I was wondering, if anyone could give me some ideas where it may be best to farm mote drops?

What you need to find is the best spawn rate of any mobs in MoP that drop them. There is an island south of Karasang that drop them, if you kill everything there fast enough things will respawn instantly.

Where about? I mean, where in Karasang?

Isle of Thunder is your best bet.

Or you could, you know, literally farm them…on your farm.

Your farm is best place. those songs add up after a few days.

I would, as I actively farm on three toons. The problem is, that can only really be supplemental to the amount I actually need. I kind of can’t grow motes either because I need to grow trillium. I need the motes to turn those into living steel.

oh, I have 30 doing farms. I tend to forget some have only few. Monkeys up top then, on mountains. they usually drop a lot in the hut area.

I find myself getting a bunch within the old MoP raids. I say you should give it a try, you might also get some cool transmogs or mounts as well!

I’ve been farming the mogu in the Vale for Golden Lotus rep and skyshards and keys for those chests in Guo-Lai Halls on an alt and it seems to me she’s been collecting a decent amount of motes of harmony in the process.

I also remember farming the mobs on Timeless Isle for them back when Pandaria was current. Frogs, maybe? Or the mogu up on the hill where Huolon spawns?

I’m trying to check out Isle of Thunder, but can’t think of how to get there. There are no visible portals for me at Shado-Pan Garrison.

How do I go about unlocking them?

If you want to multitask…

Work on Skyshards in the Vale. You will be killing mobs over and over and over and over for hours anyways. You should get tons of motes.

You have to do a couple intro quests at the Garrison to get there. It doesn’t take long.
