Hey all! I see the spawn points are in a few different areas, but are there any solid spots to camp? Thank you!
RNG. I have killed it in a few different spots. You could sit in one spot and hope for the best and it may never pop while you are at said spot. Best bet is luck of the draw and just happen on it when it is up. Good Luck!

Thank you! I waited 6 hours last night just for the Walmart brand rare to show up and not the main one. ;( then someone said we had to wait 30 mins to 8 hours again after it despawns. cries in warrior
You may also want to check the Group Finder for players camping the Time Lost Proto Drake.
Reason I state this is because if you kill the drake for the mount in a group, Everyone in the group will obtain the mount. Just note everyone has to tag it to receive the mount.
Seeing as everyone does need to tag for mount, You will want to have an item on you that will tag it without killing it on other players.

Adding to this, the WoW Secret Finder discord is also a great resource for nabbing not only the TLPD, but also things like Aeonaxx, WoD rares and the Long Forgotten Hippogryph! They have channels dedicated to groups for camping and mount giveaways.
Def worth joining if you’re keen to camp out goldy
