Best place forHeavy Junkbox? (ravenholdt)

I’ve seen a couple spots one is open world and one is blackrock spire (not sure upper or lower)

anyone who’s done it on their rogue what is the quickest spot?

Lower Blackrock Spire, awesome location and that’s where I farmed it. Tons of mobs to pickpocket and the advantage of a dungeon is you don’t have to wait for respawns. Just run out, reset and keep rolling.

What do you use junk boxes for? I just vender them.

there’s a quest to turnthem in for ravenholdt rep. the only way to get exalted. but you only get them from pickpocketing i believe.

and you can get some really nice drops from those junkboxes, just leave something worthless in them so they dont disappear

The Heavy Junkboxes are the only way to earn exalted reputation with the Ravenholdt faction.

I was doing BRD myself. Just pickpocket and kill everything. Then reset. Will try LBRS and see how it compares.

is there a shortcut from the last boss to the entrance? or do i need to run through the wholeplace lol

actually it wasn’t too bad i guess the pockets respawned and i could pickpocket on the way out but i was alt tabbed for a bit. still wasn’t too bad.

Sadly, no you have run it. If you go back a bit down the path you can drop down on to the ogre bridge though. Saves some time at least.

How close are you? I have 68 now but start 3 and a half weeks ago with 36 so it will probably be a slow down soon.

Try around Thrallmar in Hellfire Peninsula, too. My rogue got some there, although this was a few years back.

the Heavy Junkbox can’t be vendored.

Did you do all junkboxes or did you kill mobs in Arathi at lower rep levels? I just got started.

UBRS is where I got all mine. And where I farmed them for a couple of friends who also wanted the “insane” title. It’s quick and tons of them drop.

The “heavy” junkboxes can’t be vendored like all the other ones. You can sell them on the AH, however.

definitely use your guild banner and kill the mobs that give rep in NEW arathi highlands. it went very fast although I have mythic gear on my character however i also found a friend and rep up to revered went pretty fast especially this week with darkmoon fair buff for reputation.

Yeah, I did it in 2014…summer thru September or so. I think that was just before Warlords released. All the guides still show Blackrock Spire as the best place to farm them. I may have done Lower BRS, I just call everything in there “UBRS”. :blush:

This guide was reworked during Warlords so it would account for the change to UBRS.

back when i did it, you weren’t able to put them on the AH.

you could only buy/sell directly.

Maybe that’s it. I know I sold a ton of them back when I was doing it. But you could be right, I may have done it thru /trade. It’s been a long time. I’ve slept like 12 months of Sunday’s since then. :smirk:

Thanks for the tips. I started it on my rogue who is only 111 (in old Arathi) however it sounds like this is so efficient that I probably should do it with a 120 and then use the rogue to collect the junkboxes and mail them over.

About how long would you say it took until revered?
