😂 Best Place for Ganking as a Hordie

This is a repost of something I wrote for Hordies looking for a place to gank people. A little information about me personally: I main Alliance and have done so for 14 years, here is a list of places to find a grand majority of Alliance players leveling up to gank around. This only includes a selective region, but within this region you will find an abundance of Alliance players to kill, a future guide on killing Hordies will be available for Alliance members.

Helfire Peninsula

  1. First: Honor Hold and surrounding areas in Hellfire Peninsula.

  2. Second: Zethgor usually has some quests.

  3. There’s also a mineshaft underneath HH that will be a good spot to look around for as well.

  4. You can always try the Temple of Talahmaat to the far west coast of Hellfire Peninsula, I usually see 1-3 there.
    Zangarmarsh

  5. Telredor has a lot of AFK people usually, but if you go North there’s some questing stuff, but most of it will happen south.

  6. Most of everything else in Zangar is scattered.
    Terrokar Forest

  7. One of the prime areas is in and around Allerian Stronghold, lots of quests there.

  8. Next is anywhere around the giant Auchindoun.
    Nagrand

  9. Definitely one of the best spots is where you need to kill multiple animals at the top right hand corner of the map.

  10. Next is around any of the cities, and flight points such as Telaar in the South.

  11. Third place is by the Arena in the North.
    Shadowmoon Valley

  12. You won’t find many Alliance here, but another spot is West of Wildhammer Stronghold, and North East next to Black Temple.

Blades Edge

  1. Anywhere really, not many people quest here.

Netherstorm

  1. Area 52 has a few AFK and usually running around, you might even find another 120 there.
  2. Anywhere in those giant bio-domes.
  3. Kirinvar Village to the very south may have a ton of players running around as well.

If you need any assistance with any other places, just comment on this post and I’ll get back to you ASAP. If you’re looking for a really amazing place to gank I have a suggestion for you:

Westfall

  1. Saldeans farm: Quest Grab Hub for lowbie Alliance players.
  2. The Jansen Stead: has a lot of newer players coming in to try out Westfall for the first time.
  3. Moonbrook: has some quests that deal with the Defias Brotherhood.
  4. Sentinel Hill: This one is obvious fam.
  5. Anywhere near the beach, there’s three major quests there. One found by the Lighthouse, a treasure hunting one, and another one found at one of the farms to kill murlocs.

Duskwood

  1. You will always find lowbies at Raven Hill, I usually see a ton in there. If you go into the grave at Raven Hill it actually loops around through a secret underground tunnel into another crypt, and you will usually find someone trying to avoid Horde there.
  2. Addens Stead doesn’t usually have much, one in a blue moon I’ll see someone there.
  3. The Yorgen Farmstead: Has a lot of people questing. There’s 2-3 quests there.
  4. The Rotting Orchard: has like 3-4 quests there, you’ll usually find a lot of people here for some reason.
  5. Tranquil Gardens: This starting quests for Duskwood.
Duskwood is good because its an easy choke point for every angle, just be cautious there’s usually a 120 in the area.

Redridge

  1. Lakeshire is a no brainer, just like Darkshire is to Darkshire.
  2. Three Corners is the entry level quests, you’ll usually find a bunch of people there.
  3. by the Orcish Stronghold: Usually a bunch scattered around the area.
  4. There’s a questing hub by the water near the stronghold, best place to pop some lowbies.

Northern STV

  1. Nesingwarys Expedition (Watch for Guards) Lots of people questing here.
  2. Near the Ruins of Zul’Kunda, lots of quests here for the Alliance.
  3. Kurzens Compound: Has the most Alliance players, and a ton of quests here. Should be your #1 spot to go to.
  4. On the road.
  5. For Livingston and the areas around it have a lot of people around there.

The Cape of STV

  1. Please be careful around the Gurubashi, I always see 120’s there.
  2. Explorers League Digsite, south east of the Gurubashi will have a few players there.
  3. North of Booty Bay has Alliance players killing pirates, wack them when they’re there.
  4. Jaguero Isle has a quest for the Alliance, but only 1-2.
  5. Wild Shore is one of the best spots, Alliance on the boats and on the beach killing pirates, pop them there.

If you have any further questions please simply reply to this post, and I will do whatever I can to get back to you.

Those are all good spots but old Darkshore and Ashenvale are also pretty viable ganking spots. Nelfs are heavily played, after all.

All those places except maybe Hellsfire are ghost town in modern wow

Thelsemar and Darkshire for me.

Darkshire is a great spot, anywhere around Stormwind will be a great place, but it will usually always trigger a fast response from 120’s to come kill you, especially if they’re in the area trying to recruit newer players, or help a friend.

I don’t mind. Fighting with other 120s is fun as well.

Darkshire and Honor Hold . Any other place you are just wasting your time . You will see 1 alliance every hour.

I fully support ganking all Nelfs.

A perfect place to kill horde is umm everywhere. It is fun to kill about 3 120s that is 36 honor. Haha
Just camp them it is worth it.

Oh where am I?

“BEST PLACE FOR GANKING AS A HORDIE”?

So, this is basically a guide for people that are not only so bad at pvp that they have to resort to ganking lowbies, but apparently actively need a guide on how to do that.

Please refrain from using an ad hominem approach to attack other players.

If you didn’t know, due to Blizzard’s phasing ability: A group 7-8 lvl 20’s can work in unison to kill a lvl 120. It’s not entirely similar to how Vanilla wow was, where a lvl 60 could absolutely destroy a lvl 20. They’ve enabled it so that that lowbies can actually put up a fight. While ganking on my lvl 120 Rogue I was met with an opposition of 5-7 lowbies that nearly killed me.

If you’re new to the game and want to try some WPVP, this guide will prove to be helpful. Especially since WPVP invites people to bring their mains, and or max levels.
Seldom does the extent of someones choice on the location to kill other players, represent the level of competence another player may possess.

As much as I enjoy ganking, you can’t even bring your main anymore because of sharding unless you do some goofy lfg stuff

Yea you have to get a friend to show up, then log out and switch, and join his party.

No amount of level 20’s can destroy a 120 unless he is just standing there doing nothing.

The gear scaling only really works from 110 to 120 and even there a decently geared 120 can always take on multiple lower level opponents due to the higher health pool.

Hey man I almost got rekt.

Odd
cos I could 1 shot lowbies easily when I tried it .Though I have not done it in weeks so they must have changed something .

Try to find a group of like 5-10 lowbies and try to get them toa ttack you all at once.
Hey who knows, maybe I’m just bad?
