Anyone able to give me a list of the best non-raid gear a frost mage should be looking for in TBCC at 70? Crafted would be preferred, but if a dungeon drops something amazing I could farm it and I have never really done the badge system until Wrath so not sure how TBCC system works.
Everything on the web I look up shows me bis from raids and at this time it is not really viable for me.
Look up mage pre-raid BiS and stop expecting people to spoonfeed you.
Just go to BGs and buy a full set of purple gear. At this point honor gear beats anything from heroics and most of karazhan.
Check the honor gear, check badge gear now with za badge gear. There is so much non raid gear I don’t know what your willing to do to get the gear but that will be 90% of your gear if your looking for non raiding gear
Go farm the PVP set if you don’t want to raid, you will do juuuust fine, and the extra stamina and armor will help with those dirty melee who try and gank you.
Look up crafted epics…
Also, you can grind honor pretty easily now. You can buy quite a bit with little effort. Who cares if it’s “BiS” for the effort. It’s purple, and better than quest gear.
I have done very little pvp, but I see a few PvP gear items that are very nice. Not good at it though so not sure how long it would take for me to grind it out lol

If you do the dailies, you get nearly 3k-4k honor per day (depending on if Halaa is a thing on your server) just from quests. Honor gained from BGs and from turning in marks is added to that. The 5 piece set can be bought now for about 50k’ish. Weapons for 20k’ish. Offset pieces, aside from the cloak and basic trinkets require some marks. Honestly, just doing the daily towers, you can get the 5 piece set in like a month with 0 PvP. That being said, you simply use honor to fill in some needed slots, which will take much less time.
For non-pvp I’d assume frozen shadoweave is your best bet outside of raiding. It requires tailoring but is pretty solid. I’d fill out the rest of your gear with heroic items, I know next phase some good stuff drops from Magister’s Terrace.
