So seeing as how orcs used to be the best class to play for PvP because of their racial. With the new trinket bonus and it not stacking orcs racial went from the best to useless for PvP.
I’m thinking high mountain Tauren are now the best with the versatility buff?

No, they still have on-use stats, 1% pet damage and 5% stun reduction.
Highmountain is certainly more appealing but it’s just 1% and that doesn’t really overrule things like escape artist, shadowmeld, will to survive, etc.
I’m thinking will to survive will be meta, given that evoker cc is a sleep, 8 seconds I may add, and a 15 sec cd. I find it’s spammed a lot on me as a healer.
WOTF breaks sleeps so class counter maybe?

Pick purely based on aesthetic, you can find a use for most racials now. None of them are game breaking like passive stun reduction was. Some of the more notable races:
Dark iron dwarf: defensive and offensive racial, massive stat boost + full cleanse.
Night elf: meld used properly can be massive, used improperly can be next to useless, added benefit (and a great one at that) for specs that have a stealth moveset (druids/rogues)
Gnome: DF has even more roots in the game, gnome racial is simple to use, off the global cooldown and does not incur any shared trinket cd like others.
Undead: Locks, Priests and evoker will be popular, gives you an extra fear break per trinket cycle pretty much.
And again plenty of other racials that can be useful in many situations to the point where you should pick what you like the look of.

human / undead will be somewhat niche but strong
panda will probably be pretty good on a few classes

Dont sleep on troll casters for that 10% haste. I know its only every 3 minutes but its still a nice cd to use and can easily get kills or force cds if used correctly.

If you have to ask what the best race (for pvp mods don’t shoot) is I promise it doesn’t matter for you.
It won’t be what wins or loses a lot or games, nor impedes one from climbing to most mmrs, but it’ll certainly be an advantage, like properly enchanting your gear, especially in the case of hardiness where the value is passive.
Shaving a second and a half off hoj or kidney is notable.
does the fox race copy passives or just actives?

see the last time i paid attention to the dumb fox people was on the ptr they released on and the racial from there with bag of tricks let you copy other races active racial i guess. it got changed to what it is now
