Eve Online. Objective facts, older then WoW, an insanely dedicated community, literally unlimited amounts of potential for fun and entertainment, true risk vs rewards.

Star Wars - The Old Republic. Good campaigns, you can solo your way through them for the story if you want. Takes place many years after KOTOR and KOTOR2.

The biggest issue of D2 is that like, 90% of its lore is hidden away on a website or deep in a lore journal that you have to like piece together.

They all different and it depends what exactly you want from a game

I played this up until around the Hutt Cartel expansion I believe it was called and got upset with the fact they wanted RL money for barber shop changes I was subbed and thought those should be covered by that.
ESO and FFXIV. ESO has the best open world for exploration/questing and voiced dialogue for everything npcs say. FFXIV has best story in all MMORPGs ever.

expansion content is garbage in SWTOR (after hutt cartel, it’s actually nice in comparison). Your edgy sith inquisitor that kills everyone in main story suddenly becomes just slightly mean to main characters for expansions, doesn’t matter what class you play.

FF14 unless you’re into PVP or you’re all about the DPS meter life style.
GW2 for a smaller community that is PVP focused.
ESO for good world content. Almost plays like a single player game but with MMO elements.
SWTOR if you’re really into the Star Wars universe and want a story driven MMO.
New World if you hate yourself.

FF14 PVP is actually really good now. Not sure if you’ve played recently but they re-did the whole PVP combat system and its REALLY good now. They also introduced crystalline conflict mode which has proven insanely popular. I troll healers and casters with my warrior’s pull-in skill combo’d with stun and keep them in middle of my party LOL.

Eh not really. I really like FFXIV, but the pvp is rather meh, plus there’s no world pvp.
My ideal MMO would be the pvp+world pvp of wow combined with the everything else of FFXIV.

WildStar private server has itd player housing which is the best ever made

Albion Online, it’s just EVE but not buggy and 20x the players.
