Been playing frost , was thinking to shift over to Fire
Can you recommend the best talent trees for DPS ?
Tried Arcane and cant drink and play at the time - too intense
Should i stay with Frost?

Personally I go and scope out wowhead for possible talent builds, I think frost is really fun and smooth, and so is fire, you can go with either I’d say, fire might need a little bit of gear to start out.
I just got back into it recently so I don’t exactly know how we’re doing in a whole I know they just buffed baseline for most of the specs though
Fire does the worst dps by far for me, I don’t understand why. Frost is super easy to play and does almost double my fire dps. Maybe you need very specific gear or something for fire.

Yeah I’m thinking the same, back when I was actively doing heroic content back in MoP that’s always been the case for fire. Frost was always the go to, to begin gearing and whatnot. I think they did change quite a bit since then though so at least from my understanding it could work differently
But I agree, frost right now feels like it’s pulling ahead and is easier to do better
I was running some content today and thinking to myself “this is way intense” as a click through my 8 abilities in the specific order I’ve come to use them, and when the stack hits just right it does have big pay off, but yea, definitely lots going on at once.
As fire is stubbornly consistent with the fact you need gear to do well with it. You need lots of haste and now lots of crit. Even then, if you’re doing anything below an +18 fire is pretty rough as you don’t have enough time to do damage.
In raid, pretty sure every fight Arcane or Frost is better.
