Best low pop realm for a low budget laptop ? I have 8gb of ram and its a lenovo ideapad 1 windows 11
Not sure I understand how the comment on the laptop fits in lol.
I can’t really play on a high end server, so my only situation is for a low populated server on low settings.
Is it because you dont feel your computer cant handle something about busy servers?
Ah I see you answered that.
That shouldn’t really matter much, just pick whatever server.
Yeah, i can’t handle the high end servers as of right now.
I’m not sure what your computer has to do with a low pop realm, but I do like mine. Sentinels, Steamwheedle Cartel and Kirin Tor are all Connected. It’s an RP realm with nice people (no trade chat craziness and chats are usually very quiet unless an event or rare comes up), not too crowded, but not entirely dead and does have a couple few raiding guilds. I’m not sure what sort of stuff you’re looking to do, but my suggestion is check out realms before you transfer characters.
I have a character on Sentinels (wanted to see what a quiet server was like) so that would probably be a good choice if you are after that. As Sendryn says, Sentinels is RP but I’ve never found that to be any real difference between other servers personally. Just make an alt and see how you go.
And y’all are welcome to hang out in my quiet little guild! We don’t do too much, life keeps people busy, but we try to help where we can, run some low keys, some Timewalking and we’ve got a holiday event planned.
Id take up your offer but I pretty much gave up on playing her as my ms was pretty bad and made more complex gaming difficult. Its rare I ever get under 385 (which it is as I type, just tested her). Doing very casual world stuff isnt too bad but anything that requires really sharp dps is an issue.
Pity really, she is a nice mid 40s druid but I think she will mostly just slumber there. The tyranny of distance.
I’ve got RA and I’ve had some really bad days with my hands, so I understand.
Some of us stick mostly to open world, so I get it. If you do log back into her, just let me know. And if you just want to hang out in the guild Discord (not the same as the Murloc Spot at all) if you ever need help with anything on any character, you can do that too. It’s not a busy Discord or guild, but we’ve got some funny nice people.
Doesn’t work that way though OP.
It actually does matter. You dont have to go out of your way to try and troll everyone on the forums. OP shouldn’t pick Illidan or A52 Horde side, not Tich or KT Ally, Not Sarg Ally. Scilla server is good to pick for him.
But most the servers were merged. Some though still are near empty.
You could try fenris, I played there for a while and it was alright. The auction houses on low pop servers are much higher prices on certain things, but it was quiet… yet nice. I was still able to find a guild easier than other low population servers I’ve tried.
Another cool thing about low pop realms is name availability!
It really doesn’t. Most of the load from player count is taken from the servers themselves. Your frames aren’t going to grind to a halt because you are on a busy server, mainly because any activities you engage with are more than likely going to be crossrealmed anyway, hence why server choice doesn’t really matter.
If you are running a really crappy computer then yes a place like Illidan will cause severe lag or even crashes for you. OP says his laptop is not good enough to run in the higher pop servers.
No it won’t lol.
It will actually cuz I have done it and this thread would not exist if that wasn’t possible for some people to lag out on over crowded servers. There are only 5 people I greatly dislike on these forums… you’re one of them.
So explain how. Dungeons are 5 people no matter what server, raids start at 10 no matter what server, outdoor is crossrealm.
Help me out here lol.
Wish I cared.
You cared enough to comment, so…you do.
