Best Legendary power for Resto Druid?

I’ve been reviewing the lengendary powers available for the resto druid and so far they seem pretty underwhelming or unexciting to say the least.

Based on your experience are there any stand outs?

Hi! So I think the “best” is going to be entirely dependant on your playstyle, mode of choice and covenant

Anyways, I personally like Verdant Infusion! I plan on using a swiftmend based build in Dragonflight, so I hope to keep it going forward. I’m a big fan of M+, and I think it has quite the impact in small-group healing.

It’s a strong option for all modes if you ask me, and just a well rounded legendary…It can also currently be used in conjunction with Flourish to extend hots quite a bit - which is great for both tank healing and spot healing your party.

Def share more information about yourself and your style so that the druids here can guide you in the right direction :heavy_heart_exclamation:

I wouldn’t call them underwhelming.

Exciting? Honestly not of the healer leggo’s are really that exciting. Flash Concentration for Holy Priest?

What’s really nice about resto druid leggos is there are more than 1 viable combinations. for PVE, I’m down to running mostly Circle of Life & Death, as its a generic increase in HPS and DPS. But sometimes I feel like running Dark Titan’s, and swap over the photosythesis.

Some people like Verdant Infusion, and with the 4pc tier bonus, it plays nicely with that. Personally I don’t really like VI, which is why I keep to DT or CoLD. But I still have VI and sometimes i’ll use it, depending on my mood.

But that’s what’s nice about resto druid right now. We have a number of viable leggo and talent combinations that are all competitive.

The thing that’s nice about the Druid Legos is that a lot of them are actually viable. The downside to that is you’ll be carrying a lot of Legos around.

VI is definitely the most popular one for small group content like m+ and arena due to the ease of keeping your hots up. Oath can be really fun with one min convokes (although not super optimal overall). Circle is great for DPS and ok for healing but comes at the expense of you having to HOT and DOT more frequently.

The list goes on when you factor in raids and talent setups etc.

As folks have said, there’s a lot of viable options for resto druid and I think that’s really great!

For myself, I’m partial to Dark Titan’s (two lifeblooms) paired with the Photosynthesis talent. I just like the way it plays for M+ and it’s served me well for the whole expansion. It’s not a super popular build though, I tend to not see anybody else running it on the RIO leaderboards.

My preferences, for M+ (I am Night Fae, because it’s decent for all specs and there is no way I’m changing from the obvious Druid Cov anyway):

Verdant Infusion is pretty common, but depending on the key level you are doing (or how squishy they are), the tank might not really need all that much attention, and the HoT extension can just be overkill. This is the final patch/season of the expansion, so tanks are usually at their beefiest, and for me at the mid-keys my druid does, most tanks don’t need the help.

Memory of the Mother Tree is my favorite to run in most Fortified weeks, and also especially on Bursting or Grievous weeks. It brings a really good amount of extra group stability, especially in PuGs that you have to heal carry. The RNG is a downside, but over the course of a dungeon the extra HoTs you can get out into a damaged group really add up.

Dark Titan’s lesson is powerful from a healing perspective (when combined with Photosynthesis of course) but the amount of babysitting required is not something I’m interested in. And the extra upkeep takes away a lot of potential damage contribution.

Drought of Deep Focus is nice DPS option for Catweaving on Tyrannical weeks, particularly in solid groups that don’t require your constant attention from a healing perspective.

I play Necrolord w/ Draught in just about every dungeon on tyrannical when I’m going for a bit more damage. This is usually my default setup for that week. On fortified, I’ll default to Circle for dungeons with larger packs or more trash in general, and Draught otherwise. (though I have been heavily considering defaulting to draught even on fortified just because of the boss nathrezim…) To clarify, this is for feral affinity + HotW builds.

Outside of that, Verdant Infusion is my go to for raw healing, but I don’t find myself using this set up as much as I used to.

There’s a lot of stuff that’s viable though, and you can’t really go wrong. Night Fae is perfectly fine, VI, you name it. If you can press Swiftmend followed by Wild Growth, you can’t really go wrong like 90% of the time

yeah, I bounce between DT and Circle. I do like the DT set up as well, so you aren’t alone.

I also stay NF. I pug 99% of the time, and having that extra oh crap button is too juicy to have on a 1 min CD. really fun to pop it with incarn set proc. or off set it so you have a big CD every 30s or so.
