As a long time Alliance player what Horde race would you recommend to get the best overall perspective of your factions story?
Orc is the only answer. Their invasion of Azeroth really kicked off the Human vs. Orc conflict and they created alliances with the other outcast races.
And, of course, Orc Warchiefs exclusively led the horde until Garrosh’s hunger for power messed everything up.
The Horde story is mostly just Orcs. Trolls, Goblins and Tauren all fit the generic Horde theme, but Orcs drive the story. Blood Elves and Forsaken still feel out of place in the Horde aesthetic 20 years later.
Lok’tar Ogar
Victory or death!
orcs, trolls or taurens respectively
but keep in mind that blizzard dont care about ‘‘monster’’ races anymore, or are making them like green humans for example. so its not worth it anymore, but in classic its awesome
Orcs are the foundation of the Horde.
Putting my bias aside!
Orcs are a great answer like all above mentioned.
If you don’t want to be a orc, Tauren would be my second choice.
Orc Warrior.
I feel like Orcs got the most development. Trolls were just issued Ls. Goblins are given that too with their technology always blowing up. Tauren don’t get decent enough development. Belves had a decent amount. Forsaken were great up until recently.
I’d say Orc is the strongest lorewise.
Ogres, obviously.
I’m still mad we don’t have playable versions yet.
Tauren. Connected with the strife of their people and the land.
Tauren quests deal with their connection to the world, not so much their partnership with the Horde. They might be like, “Oh here are the Orcs, our allies. Anyway back to the Earthmother.”
Gonna go with Orc Warrior. Thx guys!
