Best Heals Class in BFA

Just healed WC with a lvl24 Druid. Got through it ok, but, was a little dicey at times.

What is considered the best healing class in BFA today?

All of them. Pretty much every healer has something it’s good at.

Resto Druid is the best healer in raids, mythic plus and pvp hands down

I mean you could have just ended it at “the best.” You pretty much mentioned the entire game, haha.

I’m a little salty about the last part because of how insanely good they are

Rdruids are definitely not the best in raids lol. I would say in dungeons and pvp they are above average, but they are mid tier for raiding.

Like someone said all healers are good, just play whatever you want.

Lmao what??? ABove average??? I’m shook

Incorrect.

You’re literally on a paladin. Can you spell Glimmer?

Okay which of the three I mentioned is incorrect? Do you just refuse to look at logs and the ongoing arena tournament/arena rankings before you spout anything

Don’t care about pvp.

If your support for which healer is best, regardless of which spec you’re talking about, is healing logs over two months into a raid, then you’re already too far gone. It’s still adorable.

Triple Glimmer of light. Do you refuse to look at logs?

Raw throughput? Holy and disc win. Burst raid healing? Disc and Rshaman. Healing while doing damage? Paladin, disc, Rshaman. Single target healing? Paladin and monk. Dispels? Holy priest, disc, and monk. Blanket healing with effective healing? Paladin. Mobility? Druid and monk. Immunity? Paladin.

Etc

LMAO I’m mind blown right now refuses facts says he doesn’t care about pvp doesn’t have anything to point out. I think you’re spouting nonsense cause you feel called out in front of the new player. It’s okay fam some day you’ll muster the courage to post on your main.

so yeah i push +15s, and while we can have really similar throughputs resto druids definitely have the edge over resto shaman in stuff like quaking week, or spread dungeon fights that need a high throughput.

More importantly, the external they have is solid for tanking high keys, and tree form lasts much longer than ascendance (which isn’t even viable for m+).

Refute a single thing I said.

I enjoy Shaman quite a lot.

I would like to give a special nod to Shamans on bursting weeks, being able to heal through 30 stack burstings after the affix was buffed. Beyond that, yeah, hard to look elsewhere for m+ healers. Monk and pally are also pretty damn good all around though, just not as well rounded as druid.

So, I’m hearing that Druids win, by a smidgen. Healadins and HShamans, are that really close second. Priest and Monks, are the long shot 3rd.

Drezwazluz, implied they are all about equal. All are good at something, and I find that sad.

But, I think I’ll try my lvl42 Healadin today.

Thanks everyone.

What’s sad about it? They all have something they excel at. Druids are well rounded for m+, but are by no means the only healer than can succeed.

in raids there’s very little difference between them overall holy priests tend to lead the pack by an ever so slight margin week to week but again very little difference in raid.

now in M+ the differences tend to be much more present every healer is viable up to at least 15 but resto druids are king, and it isn’t even close their kit is just flat out amazing for 5 man content we’re talking a battle rez low cd mid range dmg redux cd for your tank exceptional “per target” thru-put exceptional st and multi tar burst healing exceptional mobility and survival and exceptional dps via kitty-weaving among other things however at lvl 24 like yours is they just simply don’t have the needed parts of their toolkit yet to show it trust me it’s worth it to push thru and lvl it.

monks are also quite good in M+ tbh the main reason there’s as large of a gap as there is between resto druids in terms of completion rate can be tied to 2 things, they lack a battle rez which with the emergence of warrior tanks this season hurts them even more, and their tank dmg mitigation cd while a good bit more powerful then the the druids ironbark it can also only be used 1/3rd as often while the druid can realistically have it up for every other pull. beyond those 2 things the 2 healers are very comparable in most areas.

after those 2 things tend to get a little murky while the remaining 3 healing specs are perfectly viable up to at least a 15 there is a very palpable difference between them and the druid/monk that unless you’re running with an over geared group you’re going to start to notice as early as a 7 however it’s worth noting that just because you notice the difference that early doesn’t mean it’s going to cause an issue anywhere near that early
