I found hpal really easy to pick up, but idk how next patch is going to change that. It will prob still be good, I don’t even think double bop is necessary to win most games, and mostly just lets you use the first bop offensively
Holy pally and holy priest are probably the two easiest to pick up. Honorable mention to disc because of the tuning.
Rsham has the most binds of any healer. Rdruid tuning keeps it down.
The only actual hard healres in the game to pick up are rdruid & rsham, because they require you to play extremely different ways than every other healer.
Disc is by far the easiest, and the strongest. Rsham is the hardest, but generally always the strongest when it’s good.
Is disc really the easiest? I think hpal is easier especially for someone new but even in general its insanely simple in comparison. This is the easiest iteration of disc in a long time, but I think it is still easier to pick up hpal. Also hpal seems stronger than disc at the moment but I could be wrong, maybe its that hpal feels like a better shuffle healer while disc feels like a better 3s healer? I agree with everything else though, rdruid/rsham def the hardest.
Idk I mean everyone is different. I’ve personally always found that when I play disc, whether I know what half the talents do or not, I just know how it heals and performs in a game. Hpal/hpri/mw, etc. it takes a lot more games to figure out and a lot more talent knowledge to really learn. Just my 2 cents, but I also only really heal as mw & hpri.
And I mean hpal & disc are interchangeable rn based on your comp/matchups. I’d say disc & hpal have a low skill floor, but hpal has a higher ceiling in terms of player skill.
MW is two button heals. Do it!!
Max XP as priest on your check pvp is 2100 - ironically where the Disc to Paladin power difference divide and CC starts being used properly. On the other hand you are 2500 XP as paladin. IF that isn’t enough evidence the people who claim Disc is superior to Hpaladin are full of then I don’t know what to tell you.
They even tried to say in the Discord that Disc has lower win rates now because “new DPS alts are picking up the class”. Can’t have your cake and eat it too is the win rate dropping between patches because of new alts (in which your entire arguement in this thread is destroyed) or because of patch changes Disc most powerful counters such as Shaman DPS, Warrior, Hunter and Hpaladin (in which case it’s also a worse choice then paladin because it’s win rate is garbage and has many counters). So wrong.
Hpallly by far easiest healer and arguably the easiest spec in the game to play while being god tier.
My favorite healers are MW>Hpriest
thats about it. I never enjoyed the others.
Dont play healer in arenas…
You will get upset, aggravated, tilted, and start to realize how COOKED this game actually is.
I know this because I have all healers currently at level 80.
Blizzard is absolutely fried, thinking its okay to allow healers to completely struggle climbing the ranks on the pvp ladders, because of the lack of healers there are. I dont understand the logic at all.
as a healer, I can fight another healer bot and some terrible dps, and lose -60 points in a lobby. Or I face a real player who actually has current cr and mmr, and I only gain 20 points.
This game is absolutely fried. I unsubscribed and plan to find a new game to keep me occupied. WoW is cooked. Healing is COOKED.
You got jokes when BM/fury exist
Max exp on any priest onany of my accounts is 2800, granted its hpri.
Max exp on any pally on any of my accounts is 2930, granted that’s as ret.
Might be a surprise to you that I have more than 1 account just like you tuckyb! Mine just odn’t get banned.
It might be a surprise as well, to you, that I also play multi region for multiple people! I simply don’t really enjoy reroll spamming non stop, and stick to my 1 or 2 specs for every few expacs
So what you basically just said is you know nothign about Disc and play Holy Priest. What a peasant.
