My Brann is level 31 and quite simply, what curios is everyone using for Brann as a healer??
Currently I’m using Unbreakable Iron Arrow, but I have heard that Rage-Filled Idol is also good, and Amorphous Relic.
I just tried a Tier 8 delve and everything was easy peasy UNTIL the final boss.
After being killed 3x times I gave up. On all occasions, boss was pretty close to dying.
The Delve was Earthcrawl Mines that I consider to be rather easy in Tier 7
My ilevel is only 597 (Druid)
I recently leveled my little druid (kitty) alt and i found the extra potion one to be really handy, it wasn’t uncommon for me to be able to run over 3-4 potions quickly to get them stacked up on me, then i could just run over 1 to refresh when they were about to expire, pretty much made me unkillable lol
I like the one that gives you extra potions to step on and the other that heals you if your health goes below a certain %.

I haven’t used him as healer. I was resto spec but picked up an agility weapon and did T8 as Guardian with Brann as DPS. I’m 595 now but it was totally doable before that.
If you’re open to changing specs it might be easier. I used Idol of the Earthmother and Amorphous Relic.
There are a few videos around that all say that Brann as a DPS is terrible, and I agree 100%
When I changed him over to a heals, things changed dramatically!
He heals you AND throws out some DPS so it’s a win win both ways.
That’s interesting. Now I really wonder what the difference is! Next week I’m going to try him out as a healer and see if his damage is any lower.
Those videos are false. Brann’s DPS is much more significant as a DPS than a healer. I’d even make the argument you need the heals to compensate for his abysmal DPS. Plus he interrupts as a DPS which is more valuable than a random dispel.
Maybe when someone is uber undergeared or bad there may be an argument he can be useful as a healer on certain bosses with big AOE damage/hits…but that’s about it. Hardmode Zekky too for most. I ran mine as a DPS but people can’t do what I can and that is a very unique scenario.
I run healer Brann with the Porcelain Arrowhead Idol and the Amorphous Relic. Before I got a good Amorphous relic, I was using the Relic of Sentience or the Streamlined Relic.
It’s more or less the easiest way to just use him as a passive buff that requires no change or work and he’s less annoying in healer mode compared to flying everywhere as DPS.
