I am a slow leveler. Very slow. Don’t care about that part, i’m enjoying my time on classic.
I know I won’t have 1000 gold by 60 for epic mount, but what professions do you guys recommend to increase my chances of that? I have 294 skinning right now and dropped LW because I let it fall behind. I picked up herbalism and ran around for a few leveling that. only got to the mid 30’s so not to invested.
Again, I’m a slow leveler which is why i was thinking of getting good professions while i level will give me an opportunity to collect a fair amount of mats.
Best way to make gold is to get to 60 as fast as possible.
It’s really that simple.
The amount of gold you can earn at 60 is much much greater than what professions can do for you at low levels.
Skinning/Herbalism is an ideal choice for Shaman, since you can skin/herb in Ghost Wolf. Mining is good too, using Stoneclaw Totem to draw mobs while you smack the vein.
Herbalism is likely to make more money than Mining, since there is a higher demand for elixirs and flasks than there is for ore/bars, but Arcane Crystals still sell for 40-50G on Sulfuras.
Once you get to Level 60, and depending on what alt(s) you may have, you can reevaluate your tradeskills.
Skinning and mining seems pretty good as well.
Skinning will definitely stay since it is already so high. It looks like herb will be good too. Thanks for the input guys. I may go eng/min at 60 for grenades after I do a bit of farming.
The mount should cost you 800. Look how easy I gift you 200g!
