I’ve been blessed with being the nightfall user for our raid team and I’m trying to figure out what enchantment works best for it. Crusader seems like a waste since the outgoing damage I can do with seal twisting is barely above any tank. From what I’ve read fiery has a chance to proc it but 5 or 6/8 of the bosses in BWL have fire immunity Haven’t seen a single thread confirming if lifestealing works for NF but it’s either that or the 3% counter weight, I’m interested to know what other paladins have been doing and any tips for using NF are appreciated.
The best enchant is to equip a better weapon.
Best enchant is probably crusader, on a different weapon.
Vendor it. Its proc rate is low and Paladins are trash for uptime of any proc based thing anyway.
Enchant your healing weapon with 55 healing and swap to holy.
lol got em
Serious answer? Life stealing. And then run seal of righteousness as it counts at 2 chances to proc every swing. Then get attack speed enchants on everything you can. Stay above 23% crit and have 9% hit. Make sure you have a healing set for certain encounters and when your raid is short healers. And make sure dispelling with all your free globals. Bring lots of mana potions. I’ve been adding about 600-700 dps to our wizard group on top of the measly 300 or so I’m doing it’s more than enough to make it work. This is without super sweaty try hard raid buffs we just roll in with whatever people bring on the night
I wonder if it would be at all effective to do 2x rapidity librams for 2% haste as a nightfall user to try to squeeze more procs in/ But seconding lifestealing as it has extremely high ppm.
Your guild has 3 average Warlocks and 4 really bad mages. Your group will not benefit much from you using Nightfall. You’re more useful being Holy.
No you haven’t lol.
Don’t proc based effects trigger off SoR?
Not sure who ours is going to yet. But it’s almost assuredly not worth fielding until we’re at later stages when mages start pulling ridiculous numbers, and all our casters are closer to ~800 DPS or so.
well me and a multiboxed hunter with 2 nightfalls and weve got like 11-12 casters… so ya… its around that. its about 5-7% damage increase to ALL the magic damage your raid puts out.
they do yes.
You might want to go over your math again.
Dude, in order for Nightfall to be adding 600-700 DPS to your raid, do you have any idea how much DPS your casters need to be pulling baseline, at its current proc rate/uptime?
maybe, Not that it really matters. It adds dps, its nice to not have to 1 button snoozemode every week, and My guild doesnt care about clearing everything in 45 minutes because we actually enjoy playing with one another. I dont really need to justify it any more than that.
You could just use a real weapon and your raid would be doing more DPS. You had 12% uptime of Nightfall on Broodlord and your casters were doing 3,000 dps.
Your Nightfall debuff added like, 50 raid DPS.
maybe ill bust out my HOR tonight then
Oh, if you’ve got it definitely do that 100%
ya i was trying the sealweaving last week on Vael and kinda botched it up. people seriously go so far to dig peoples logs up to argue on forums? yikes.
