Out of Pally, Priest, Druid, Or Mage what’s the best pair?

For PvP or Pve?

I know nothing about what works in Arenas or RBGs or the like. But for PvE, a tank and a healer are always a good combo for a team. So maybe Pally and Druid? That way, you two can switch back and forth if you want? Both bring a lot of utility and both can fill all three roles.

Mage always have at least 1-2 amazing specs. We can even deceive our friends by portaling them high above a crater to fall to their deaths.

That does sound awsome but what are my chances when she gets back from being portaled into a volcano?

By sending them to their deaths you may be inviting others to Leap of Faith, Swapblast or “Rescue” you at inconvenient deaths that may cause death.

It is a risk you must be willing to make, for the memes.

I’d still say Pally and Druid. That way, you still have access to all three roles to swap between them, try them out and decide what works best for the two of you while questing. It doesn’t much matter which specs you choose, because there’s two of you and you’ll have each other’s back with spot heals if needs be or tanking in a pinch, etc.

Then you’re free to pick whatever! Back her up as a healer, be her tank or own things in the face with her as dps. :slight_smile:

I’d still say Druid is nice, because you can spot heal her, which, if she’s a new player, will make her feel comfortable.

Would go ret, feral druid.

In the open world most mobs wont really do enough dmg to justify a healer nor live long enough with 2 people for a caster.

For a couple/pair I’d go with mage and priest. I assume you will be doing somewhat more than just literal world questing only…like say queue content and if you do queue content, you have access to a healer queue and the ability to trade gear drops amongst yourselves.

Plus mage brings the defacto best small group content buff in lust/hero so even if you want to do keys or dabble in non queue pug content, you have a small advantage over the ton of other DPS (although if you aren’t geared and high enough score, having lust/hero isn’t likely to be enough unless a group is really desperate for it).

Would you play blood DK? Easy to get mobs to y’all which will make her ret experience more fun. And then neither of you will need a healer

Ret pally with anything is dynamite. They alone bring plenty of damage and defense. And let’s be real, we’re talking about questing. Two of any class will blitz everything.

For duos, i bet UDK + Dpriest or UDK+Spriest
