Best druid spec?

Hello I am currently levelling a Worgen druid (gods be praised for new auto human ability out of combat, looks sweet shifting in and out)
And I was wondering what is the best spec to play? I ask in an overall view.

Joining and being accepted into groups for group play.

solo pve questing, damage and self sustain, killing at decent speed.

I noticed this patch gave druids a lot of changes and buffs so I would like community opinion on these things

Thank you all for your assistance

I’d say that being a big portable chicken for emergency rations is definitely the most optimal option here! :face_holding_back_tears:

The class needs a ton of work, but guardian is good solo, and good enough for group.

Ofc healing is always fast Q’s also, but always play what you like and enjoy, that’ll take you further.

I actually enjoy all the specs  I just can’t decide on what one. I want to go more in depth and focus one spec however I’m not entirely sure as to how they all fair in the end game

I used to play Feral consistently, but several months ago switched to Guardian. For the points you mentioned, Guardian has been pretty much god mode for me in those areas. I can’t say much for mythic+ as that’s not really my thing. But killing quest mobs at decent speeds, yeah, I’ve had zero issues in any of that.

As for the Buff for this patch they all went to Boomkin, Resto, and Feral, Guardian druids just got some new animations added with no new skills or buffs. I’d say since druids are a jack of all trades kind of class, you really have to ask yourself what you enjoy playing. Ranged ? Melee? Healing? Or are you looking to be the leader and Tank? If you’re just solo Questing Boomkin seems to be in a good spot and since a lot of fights these days are a pain for new melee its good to be ranged. I Tank M+ its rather fun now that they changed a few things from Shadowlands.

Again it all comes down to what you are looking to achieve and what content your focusing on.

All I have seen when I am tanking, is every attack I make is my right arm looking like I am cuffing them on the head… Right arm only. Bring back the old Animations for the love of god! It’s like I am keeping my pimp hand strong!

  • Guardian
    • Several new combat animations added to the Might/Blight of the Grizzlemaw Druid Bear Form customizations.

That all Guardians got for 10.1

Why must you torture yourself so?

Guardian is really easy and makes for faster dungeon grinding if that’s your thing. Ultimately, lets you gather a bunch of mobs in world content for other players to kill.

Once you’re max level, try the dps spec on dummies, see which one you like the most and stick with it.

I leveled this druid mostly as balance and balance felt really squishy. My other druid I leveled as guardian and had a much better time. I could pull as many mobs as I could tag and never struggled with survival.

I will always answer this question Boomie, even if the spec is bottom of the barrel and hated by all other people…

That said, Balance is a good spot at the moment, at least for pve questing. I’m doing the new zone and pulling large packs then dotting and starfall and nuking with starsurge procs. Plus you’re an owl beast with antlers. Can’t go wrong with that.

My Worgen is called Sauron lol it’s a lotr themed character, I dressed him up to look like Sauron from the movies however in silmarillion lore Sauron was a shapeshifter, he had a human form and often turned into a wolf. Worgen druid + transmog armor and mace seemed like the perfect fit
