Best Covenant for Frost DK Mythic +

I have been running Night Fae-> Dreamweaver (Soulbind) on Frost DK for mythic +, but Icy Veins says that this is one of the weakest soulbinds in the game, and doesn’t suggest Night Fae for any content whatsoever. Should I just switch?

You should switch covenants only at your own discretion.

Truthfully, Death’s Due is perhaps the most weird covenant ability for Death Knights. You don’t use them for Strength increase for Frost (Only cleaving with Obliterate, which is the only unique thing about them) and they have some potential for Unholy in M+.

I’ve yet to test my Dk who just swapped to Unholy with Defile build with Rampant Transference Leggo and Withered Ground Conduit. I doubt it’ll be good as FM and Unholy Pact but consistent strength increase seems pretty appealing.

I just don’t like how GCD reliant Death’s Due has become and I also have issues other covenant abilities to each of their own. It’s not too terrible however.

Dreamweaver is among the most defensive soulbind in the game (Much like Plague Deviser for NL). As a matter of fact, I use Dreamweaver as Unholy PvP. They’re pretty obnoxious as people do not expect a Night Fae DK. You can slow druids that shapeshift out of your Chains of Ice which increases your value out of that ability by a lot!

So being a Fae DK has definitely its perks. The Soulbinds are solid. I’m really liking the First Strike from Korayn as Frost in M+. Niya isn’t that bad either since she grants Mastery which is a #1 secondary stat for Frost and Unholy Death Knight. Considering Frost has resource issues to my liking, it’s ultimately up to you to weigh your options.
