Having a tough time deciding on a covenant for my priest, I primarily will be playing disc for pvp and holy for pve/mythic+ and trying to pick a covenant that will be “good” for both. It seems like Venthyr is the way to go for pvp for sure, but it sounds like Night Fae is really good for pve/mythic+ as holy.
Curious for some thoughts! thanks in advance,
Go venthyr.
I mean if you want a balance between pvp and pve it’s the best one.
For PvE M+ venthyr is still a very good option. Night Fae and Venthyr are both the strongest covenants for Holy priest.
Mindgames really helps boosting your dps on a dungeon and it heals for an ok amount. Also Draven soulbind offers really good survivability and movement speed which is very valuable for priest and it also boost our healing on last row.
Another good thing being a Venthyr is that not many healers or even dps play venthyr so you will be required in pugs for Halls of atonement and Sanguine dungeons. This might seem like nothing but the amount of times I was invited to these dungeons just because I was venthyr saved me a lot of time.

Agreed. The healing reversal as well is fantastic in pvp as well as some bosses. Door of Shadows really helps our mobility department which is one of the areas we somewhat lack in.
You might be able to get away with Night Fae depending who you’re running with, but Venthyr imo is the better/safer option.
