Just looking for the best population server for Classic Era that isn’t Season of Mastery. Thanks.
Bigglesworth.
Shadowstrike.
Isnt whitemane where everyone transferred to?
Whitemane PVP or Mankrik PVE from what I’ve heard. I transferred my Era chars to Whitemane. To be honest I haven’t really played them but that was at the recommendation from Era people on this forum.
Any realm connected to one of these two would work as well as they are the same realm… but it’s easier to just pick one of those.
For Alliance-side:
Whitemane is best for hardcore raiding.
Mankrik is best for round-the-clock dungeon/20mans/leveling action.
Mankrik (and cluster) is way better off alliance side than horde side.
Servers on Classic Era are now connected in clusters. Realms within the same cluster are effectively merged. All Era clusters are connected for the purposes of Battlegrounds. I play on the NA East PvP Cluster of Benediction/Faerlina/Heartseeker/Incendius/Netherwind. We’re a small community of some dedicated players that’re ranking, leveling alts, and progressing through the AQ40 content (twin emps was our last pull). If you have a toon on one of those realms come log in and check us out!
thanks @despitebeing. We’ll think about it. And thanks for the explanation.
Go to Whitemane. We are the largest cluster for Alliance and Horde for US-PVP.
Whitemane is the best horde population server, at least for pvp servers.
if you are oceanic you want to be on the oceanic cluster (arugal/yojamba/felstriker).
If you are indeed from oceanic, go to Whitemane.
I am someone coming from the oceanic region, and sadly the oceanic servers are a wasteland with no future of any serious 40 man raids or GDKPs.
I wish this would change in future, but it is what it is.
As you can see the best classic server rn is basically in SoM.
“…why the f…does delete post have no prompt…just delete’s straight away…”
Except whitemane is for people who can play at US times. No point for oceanic players to play on a server with the extra lag, and raid times are when we are at work during the day. I would end up quitting the game at that point.
We are currently doing clearing 20 mans, and have done most of MC. We are holding out for things to pickup and have a nice tight nit community going. With the amount of people that had come and gone (because they didn’t wanna wait around) could of easily made a 40 man raid…This is in blizzard’s hands to do something about.
The suggestion that merging clusters or transferring to whitemane won’t change anything for us, as there just isn’t enough oceanic players who are interested in classic.
That’s not a bad thing.
When the Horde side on Era started hosting GDKP, their economy bloomed a lot. More items on AH, and cheaper prices.
I say its good, if there are other guild loot choices thrown into the mix.
I respect the fact Oceanic people try to develop their own cluster but two things :
- A few Oceanic people could probably manage to raid during the day on NA servers;
- If all Oceanic people tried to raid on a NA servers, some NA people could possibly play during their raid time and fill their roster.
Just some ideas. At all events, good luck Oceanic people.
Thanks for your input :). We’re all in this s***show that blizzard has caused. I just can’t see transfers being a solution for us.
The problem is, it is more than “just a few” to fill in the ranks.
The ones that can raid during the day have already gone over to whitemane (can prob count the number of em on one hand), the rest of us can’t. Having to rely on NA players to backfill would be overly unreliable especially expecting NA players to play both their mains and an alt raid on legacy content.
Just an example oceanic alliance ended up being around 5 people who stuck around. 5 people transferring to whitemane wouldn’t of helped us.
i know im just getting around to finish reading my OP but I really like your toons name! Also yes a crap shoot we are in for sure!
