so i just came back, i got a list of classes im interested in and would have fun playing. So i was going to make a poll here essentially to see what you all think is the best choice 
whichever class gets most votes is the one ill play and put time into.

Paladin and druid are the two classes i’ve never actually really played lol. I always thought about making a paladin but i already had a dk and warrior so i didnt bother making another plate, however if i did paladin i would most likely tank with it because of the shield throw ability looks like cpt america lol

The one you enjoy playing the most. I don’t get why so many young people have such a hard time making their own choices these days.
i mean im 34 and have played since tbc and still have a hard time picking each expansion lol too many options makes it harder to choose
Here’s some advice from Lord Maximum leader of Liquid from when we was still in Limit: Pick a class and stick with it and learn to master it inside and out. Don’t play alts just pick one you can play and are committed to getting better at.
This is why I say play one you enjoy the most cause you’re gonna be playing it for awhile. Unless you’re a god tier player who can pick up any spec and master at at the highest levels overnight.
Really a preference. I like healers, so i play healers and find all of them fun in their own way.
1). Frost is my favorite, love the class and it’s pretty good in all parts of content
2). being a brute is fun, but for me 2 dps and 1 tank kinda takes the fun out of it for me
3). Currently the best class to play if you’re into that meta stuff. but overall very mobile and fun
5). it’s good stuff, if you aren’t concerned with the fact that frost and unholy are currently ew tier, then they can be good fun
Any advice is wrong on this topic is my advice.

It’s a personal choice. It’s very cliche to say but it’s true. Even play one class until you master it is not necessarily good advice imo.
Maybe the players goal don’t include I want to be top tier in competitive content instead I’m just looking for fun?
I usually ask simple questions of the player and say your answers lie in your responses to the questions.
Casual player or do you want to delve into competitive content at the highest level?
Ranges or melee?
What trinity role do you enjoy most? (Tank dps healing)
Is mobility in a class a big deal?
Does lore or backstory of a class matter?
Any race preference?
Stuff like that you should think on to help make a decision.
This basically. We can tell you what we like and what we think you might like, but we won’t really know because we’re not you.
My advice? Pick some classes you think you might enjoy, do class trials on them and go from there.
Mage is strong but many people would probably argue has a higher skill cap than other classes.
Warriors are pretty good but are quite spammy, you’ll be button mashing very hard.
Demon Hunters are exceptional right now and reasonably easy to play. Great utility now too.
Hunters are brain dead but are doing crazy damage.
Death Knights aren’t my favorite but that’s just me.
I vote demon hunter. They are super strong right now.

Mage: i have never really gotten into mage. I felt like it always had a steep learning curve for me. I started out this expac wanting to main my nightborne as an arcane mage. only now after getting 3 toons to 2k rating am I getting back to it. it feels more like something to overcome rather than enjoying.
Warrior: it is just iconic, especially if you like to tank.
DH: has been my main these past two seasons. havoc is booming, but I have mostly tanked. The sigil game play has it in a very nice spot right now.
Hunter: people really look down on BM hunters right now because the spec is “brain dead”. I think the spec is just well built for the way the game is played now. If you are a solo player, farmer/gatherer, or like BGs, hunter is a great class. BM is in a great spot. And in PVE, especially mythics, they just shine.
DK: if you like to tank, Blood is super solid right now. lots of control and the self heals are crazy. if you prefer DPS, unholy is the way to go, but I hear that the rotation is cumbersome. frost apparently sucks.
If I were to pick just one, it would be hunter.
That depends on you, what role you enjoy, what content you consume.
Up doot to learning a class/spec inside and out. I have such good muscle memory on blood dk now, my mouse keybinds just feel so much better. I’m working on monk still, but there is an obvious performance difference between my BDK and my other tanks.
Best animations?
I’m finding frost mage feels kinda spammy, and I don’t like that the pendulum swung so extremely from “lol glacial spike” to “must take glacial spike for everything”.
Just to clarify, vulpera can play a lot on that list. Vulpera is always the correct choice.
